I am there atm. I arrived early because I was staying at another nearby guest house which was truly horrendous. The people were friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were happy to let me wait while they cleaned the room but I went out for a late breakfast. They took my heavy cases to the room. The room is clean and spacious with fairly new decor which is all we want and need. It was the cheapest option in the area and is better than the more expensive place I previously stayed. Great value for money .

We got there and from the front looked ok no of road parking at all we parked in car park down the road 9 pound a day we was on the top floor where the family room was on the way up to the room there was a smell which wasnt great, dogs barking ,then fire alarm went off in the 1st night , so overall room was ok clean tidy owner was friendly but the smell did put me off and staying on top floor so would i stay here for a week. No 1 night maybe

We had a nice family room with space for 4.
Close to the seafront and all the shops/facilities.
No parking on site but public car park at the end of the street is very close by.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation had everything we needed and is only a couple of minutes walk from the seafront and a short distance from the bus and railway stations and yown centre. It was nice to have a small fridge in the room.

My wife and I stayed in the Roslyn very recently. We thought it was a wonderful place to stay, very good value and within a few minutes walk of everything: the beach, bars and restaurants, railway and bus stations, and also the main shopping area in Paignton. The host and hostess were very welcoming and friendly, and gave us good advice about where to eat and drink. I'd thoroughly recommend the Roslyn.
