Ibis Styles Paignton

Had an issue where I booked three rooms but the hotel could only find the one room booked. Showed the staff my booking details from Trip and they could see I had three. After about 20 minutes they gave me the two additional rooms and they said they would investigate. Really pleased that they were able to sort this out very quickly. Breakfast was really good. Only two minutes walk to the sea front. We had access to the the site 25 hour gym and their spa. My mum was the only one who went and she enjoyed it. Would definitely go back again.

Well I booked this hotel over a month ago because of the spa, but when I arrived was told I had been upgraded to the hotel Mercure, next door to them, I was tired and didn't think to question it. The room I have at the Mercure is very nice and I could have chosen it myself but made a choice and chose Ibis, for the spa, so a little confused. I booked through ******* so don't know if that was the reason. Anyway would love to have given a good review but very disappointed, now I have had time to think about it.

First off I would like to thank Jason Parry for changing our booking that was made through a third party when my husband was rushed to hospital the day before our visit. A couple of weeks later than we planned we stayed for three nights. What a fabulous location, near to all the attractions, bars and restaurants with a fabulous view of the coast from Torquay to Brixham. Check in was quick and friendly and we were allocated room 319 a premium room overlooking the front. The room was large clean, comfortable with good air con (a little noisy). Great to have a safe to store our keys etc. breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold items - sausage and bacon were very tasty. We are early risers so it was quiet when we went down. All the staff that we had contact with ate a credit to themselves and the brand - so friendly and helpful and we had lots of hints and tips to make the most of our trip. We didn’t have an evening meal at the hotel but we did have some late evening drinks which were reasonably priced. We had a fabulous couple of days and recommend the zoo via bus 22 for all ages. We will be back

Lovely weekend in Paignton, enhanced by our stay at this great hotel. Excellent staff, greeted and asked about parking and journey upon arrival. Room very spacious, bed comfortable, Mel was very helpful and friendly at breakfast, which was super, and special mention to Chiara on reception! See you on our next visit, thank you!

Good nights sleep,comfy bed, quiet location, lovely sea view from room Only negative cant open windows to let fresh air in and pillows to poofy. We did have to ask to get the room cleaned, which wasnt a huge issue. Nice bar and restuarant. Had an amazing massage with hot stones by Mel.
