Very good , lovely hosts , lovely room , breakfast and excellent price . 1 min from seafront . The pier is a few mins away and all the shops , arcades and gift shops are very near . My room was excellent single which is what I needed . The bed was very comfy , nice TV with lots of choice and bath or shower .

The Best Holiday Ever, The Clifton Was the Best. Claire & Steve were Friendly Kind & Helpful, nothing was too much trouble. My room was so Comfy and Clean. The food was great too. I'm definitely coming back and for Longer. Thankyou for Everything.

Great location 50 yards from seafront hosts Steven and Claire lovely,really nice pubs on the front ie The spinning wheel ,great Sunday carvery and live music at weekends,also try Claire brekky.Had a good double deluxe room and it was as ADVERTISED DELUXE fresh towel when needed,tea,coffee replenished every day,clean and airy will definitely stay again.

We went down to Paignton to visit family, for a few days, such a lovely warm welcome At The Clifton by Steve and Claire, nice big room with en-suite, everything was spotlessy clean, a big really comfortable bed, big tv, everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. It was our second stay at The Clifton. We'll definately be returning Thank you Steve and Claire xx see you next year!!

What a super friendly couple,. the breakfast was cooked to perfection even had a continental choice. The bed was super comfy and the rooms were spotless. Located in walking distance to the town and close to the beach could not find any fault with the place.

My Wife and I do not normally give reviews, but on this occasion, we are making an exception. We stayed at The Clifton at Paignton in November for five nights. The proprietors Steven and Claire were incredibly helpful, friendly and made us feel at home. The room décor was modern and stylish, and the bed was super comfy. The room had complementary tea and coffee facilities. The full English breakfast was first-rate and very reasonably priced. The hotel was in a perfect central location, with easy access to bus/train stations, made exploring the local tourist spots easy, without the need of your car. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We travelled around Cornwall st Ives & Newquay then on to Clifton at Paignton the first 2 we stayed at were very disappointing. Then we came to the Clifton run by steven&claire brunn who were very welcoming, the guest house was very clean, our room was excellent will recommend to anyone who is going on holiday their.
