Canary Guesthouse

The Canary really gives your moneys worth. The location is just outside the main drag so you will not hear all the music and parties, but you can walk there in 5 minutes. Cross the river. So you have a lovely river view and quiet time but away from the hustle and buzzle. Many different options on accomodation, depending on your budget. The only problem is no breakfast. In a beautiful tranquil nice setting like this - you would really love to enjoy a breakfast instead of hitting the busy mainsteet right away in the morning, wouldnt you ? Cause thats where you have to go, theres no restaurants around. Thats a bummer, i dont understand why they dont serve breakfast when every other accomodation around does it. Why ?

I stayed here a couple of years ago for two times. First I stayed on my own for 2 weeks and later with a friend for a couple of days. I would always choose this Resort again. It is simple, but lovely designed bungalows, with bathroom. They have internet in every bungalow. A very basic kitchen with a fridge you can also use. The view is lovely, over fields and nature. You can easily walk to Pai city. You also pass the big Buddha Statue.
Pai Klang Na Cottage

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed every second of it. Unfortnuately, we had to leave Pai unplanned so we stayed the two nights instead of three. I would have stayed there for a whole month if I could. The breakfast is delicious, you can pay 100baht and get an american breakfast instead of the one the cottage offers. The staff is super friendly and you can feel that they want to make your stay as good as possible. The nature outside of the cottage is filled with cows, dogs, and even roosters. After staying in Pai last month (June) in a fancy hotel on the main location (walking street market), I would say that this is way better. A little far from the main street (10-15 min of walking), but totally worth it. Rent a scooter and the distance won't be an issue. A wonderful thing is also the fact that the staff is knowledgable with the main attractions in Pai and can give you information on where are the places that its worth to visit.
Pho Rak Nah Pai

Absolutely stunning little cottage cabins perched on the bottom slope of a hill. Close enough to the east side of ”downtown” pai (especially if you rent a bike). The sunset views from second floor bungalow balconies (I recommend #7; no one staying directly below) and the two cabins around the little pond are fantastic. For the negatives, the close proximity of the cabins can be annoying (when, for example, you have a selfish gap-year kid next door listening to his lame-ass music at midnight), which also means there's not a lot of sound privacy to most of the cabins. But it's not unbearable. The shower pressure is crappy (same as most places), and I would have liked bottled water every day, or a way to get drinking water other than walking to the reception during working hours to get more water. Overall, a really beautiful spot and well managed, recommended.

Hotel is cozy, close to the center through the bridge. There is a parking lot. Beds are comfortable, there is a refrigerator. On the veranda is a cozy hammock. Very stuck view of the mountains. A cozy green lawn near the houses. Breakfast can be chosen from several options. The city of Pai very liked.
