The first time I stayed in a tree house was one of my most memorable holidays in Sri Lanka. The nature surrounding this place makes you feel like you're living in a forest. The tree house is clean and the beds are very comfortable. It will take you 4 minutes to get to Willpatthu park and 3 minutes to get to the river bank. It's best to avoid walking around the village after 6.30pm as wild elephants start wandering around. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and I want to thank Nelson, Tamara, and Ajantha specifically for making my vacation comfortable. Without a doubt, I will come back again. Thank you,

We arrived late in the evening and they were so accommodating! They helped us book a half day tour into the national park, full day options were available but we were short on time . The room was as so clean and the staff were all very kind and helpful! Buffet dinner was delicious. Really lovely place to stay! Would highly recommend

A truly wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed three great nights here. Right next to the National Park entrance, you can continue to experience the wildlife from your treehouse verandah. The accommodation was clean and comfortable - and the views from our room were amazing! But possibly best of all was the hospitality - we were looked after so well! We were greeted each morning, escorted to our room each night, fresh tea and coffee was brought to our room, and the food was AMAZING - some of the best we’ve had on our trip! Highly recommend staying here when visiting the beautiful Wilpattu National Park.

We were fortunate to have the top treehouse room with a view onto the plains watching peacocks, boars, deer and squirrels. Next to the entrance to Wilpattu NP, is an easy way to a great and hot adventure. Thanks Nelson for coordinating our tours!

Hotel is just next to Wilpattu National Park. It is also more or less than a circuit bungalow as more wild time can be seen the lake just next to it. For a full day safari we could not see a single elephant in the park but around hundred elephants including three tuckers next to hotel's lake. Owner is fully concerned about the guests needs and hope she will attend to minor maintenance work in bungalow rooms. Food is OK .

Wilpattu is better than Yala in my opinion. This particular hotel is right next to the entrance of the wilpattu wild life park and has good amenities. The staff are super friendly - a big shout out to Nelson who was fantastic. The tree houses themselves are also quite a novel idea - was a very good experience overall.

Gread location. Superb surrounding for watching the nature. Lots of birds spotting. Very close to the entrance of the wild park. Friendly people who will help you to get a plessant stay. Nice tree house experience. Good local food prepared fresh in their kitchen.

Great place, fantastic nature and helpful staff. Bordering the national park Food is good with both Sri Lakan options and western options. Fixed a great safari with a serious company. Room with a fantastic view of the outskirts of the national park!

Secluded, quiet, friendly staff, excellent food and right next door to Wilpattu National Park - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a tree top room. The room was clean and comfortable, and surrounded by nature (we had a resident frog in the bathroom, and a Sri Lankan Grey Hornbill would rap on our window!). Only negative would be that, despite staying 3 nights, the room wasn’t serviced - but to be fair, I’m sure it would’ve been if we had asked. Hotel arranged safari for us, which was brilliant - the young driver was very knowledgeable and spotted so many birds and wildlife that would’ve been easy to miss. We were lucky enough to catch a sight of a leopard, and also a Sri Lankan Sloth Bear ambling back into the vegetation.
