Expectation vs. reality. They advertised the accommodation as if it’s in front of the beach but it’s not. The restaurant is in front of the beach though but there’s a short walk going there. Our room is on the top floor and it was a struggle going up especially when you have luggages. Our room did not have water supply as well when we checked in. Overall, evangeline was false advertised.

We went to stay here as a family. The place is old and needs a lot of repairs. We stayed on the first floor. Our room door did not close/lock properly. Water runs very slow and temperature cannot be adjusted so you run a risk of scalding. The ceiling is made of thin wood so noise from people walking upstairs is very loud. My other family member’s room was on the 3rd floor. The water turned off after 7pm. Their AC remote went missing after the attendant turned it on for them. It was an unpleasant experience overall.

Overall a good experience with the staff being super friendly. The location was right next to the beach which had an amazing view. The restaurant also served some delicious food.

What i like is the quick response of staff they are friendly. Room is not beach front

Okay stay for a night
Shower wasn’t working when we got there but was fixed immediately. A new shower head was installed. No TV. Staff were friendly. It was raining, the ground should be fixed, maybe put gravel or cemented so it wouldn’t get muddy.
The restaurant was situated by the beach so that was good.
