Red Rock Motel and DAM Motel

We stayed here for three nights in April 2026 - a very old motel, but extremely clean with a fantastic shower. However, we didn't like the beds as much, they make extreme noises when you turn, which meant that one of us always woke up. The internet is also very weak. A positive feature is the communal kitchen, where everything is available for self-catering. We had room 6 facing the courtyard and it was extremely quiet at night. All in all, I have to say it was a pleasant stay and we would book here again - but then a different room with better beds.

Was a little concerned when I didn't get confirmation of my reservation, but after a few calls, they confirmed that sometimes the website does not send out email confirmations. They emailed me my code to access my room about 30 minutes before check-in. Once there, I found a really nice unit with a bedroom, couch and kitchenette. Room was clean and inviting and I enjoyed sitting outside on the little patio in the evenings. Street was quiet and I felt safe as a solo traveler. Bed was comfortable and the ceiling fan eliminated the need to have the AC running all night. It's not far away from gas/food options. Would definitely stay here again.

The inside of the rooms are charming & great care was taken with their presentation. It was very clean - small, but I was alone, so that worked out. Was very close to restaurants, grocery store, mtg point for upper antelope canyon, etc. There's access to a kitchen area.

Cosy little cabin like vibe with all that is needed. Fridge, microwave, hairdryer. Felt safe, lots of cameras on property. Community kitchen with coffee, dishes, toaster and all the kitchen extras. Friendly staff. clean. Close to many restaurants. Cons: a bedside table in both sides would be convenient but it is a tiny spot. The AC overpowers the tv volume.

Great experience. This is exactly what we were looking for. SUPER CLEAN. Easy to locate. We knew we would be late checking in so we made arrangements before we arrived, which was a simple and easy process. I was a little confused about our room being at The Dam Motel since we booked at Red Rock Motel, but once we arrived I realized it's all basically the same thing, just different sections.

We booked this long in advance, and we tried to contact them to ask some questions, but they did not answer any of our emails. Luckily the reservation was OK, so we got our room. The room was ok, but there were very few electrical outlets, and only in the wrong places ;-). The AC was also very loud. But the price was OK, and it was nice to support a local business.
