My oh my…. Nicely done, room is clean, great views with awesome balconies. Staff is amazing!!!! They are extremely helpful. I love having coffee in the room. Food was expensive, breakfast was delicious however! Hot tub & spa are wonderful. Would most definitely recommend. Love the bonfire, beach chairs & the s’mores. Wow totally impressed! Thanks for a marvelous stay!

Not only is the hotel beautiful, they have not overlooked any details, but the best part is the EXCEPTIONAL customer service. The Manager Lindsey goes above & beyond for guests. Thank you Headlands for an exceptional experience! We throughly enjoyed.

Our first time on the Oregon coast and I can’t imagine a better spot to stay. We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom cottages. The view was beautiful, even with the fog! The hotel really is situated in a special place. We ate at the restaurant twice - delicious and wonderful service. Highly recommend this hotel when staying along the coast!

Beautiful room. Top notch. Stunning views. Georgious and comfy. This place is pricey. And I was a bit pieved that they charge a 9% hidden fee, called a resort fee. That didn't make me happy when I found that out. Added about $100 bucks to the room rate.

Pacific City is an amazing beach oasis, and a stretch of isolated oceanfront that one would not find elsewhere. Small town feel with merchants who appreciate visitors and guests. There is no better place to stay and enjoy the warm hospitality provided by the team at Hedlands Lodge and Cottages.

Arrived before check in (11:30) and we were graciously allowed to park our vehicle early. Told we would receive a txt when room was ready. (Check in=4). Approximately 3:15 when we were done on the beach we passed by front desk and we’re told that the room was still not ready and again assured us we’d receive a txt. 4:40 went back and they said our room was ready. I asked why they didn’t txt us and was told they did at 3:20. . Double checked phone and email and there was no communication. While it was inconvenient that we couldn’t check in at 4:00 the behavior of the staff is what has prompted this review. She was rude and only after speaking with other staff did she come over to ask if there was something she could do to make it right. She offered a free bottle of wine which we politely declined. Was there anything else? I said yes. Today is my birthday would she be able to provide a piece of cake. She said she would see what she could do. We checked out this morning. There was no cake or follow up from this staff member or any of her associates. Management. Seriously train your staff You’re charging 5 star rates don’t treat guests like you’re a 2 star! To future guests. Drive an extra 90 minutes to Cannon Beach if you’re looking for coastal beach luxury. We wish we had!

Adventure Coaches are great. Lots of variety with the adventures (we did crab kayaking and guided hike). We caught about 30 crabs, but you can only take males that are a certain size (Oregon game/wildlife rule). We brought 3 back and they cooked them for us. They were great. Meridian restaurant meals are REALLY good. A little expensive, but most everything is farm to table/local. The rooms are fun, workout room was great (free weights and had Pelotons). There’s a fun hidden hike right by the resort that takes you through some woods to the other side of the dune where the beach is empty. Really cool. Great place!

The most calming respite in a gorgeous setting with warm, inviting, and knowledgeable staff. Any length of stay would still feel like you were leaving too early. From the cottages, to restaurant, spa, and personalized adventures - it will be hard to match the experience. We’ll definitely be planning a return visit!

Well worth the drive and expense! Every expectation I had was exceeded. Food was incredible, and every staff person I encountered was helpful and friendly. The view from my room was gorgeous, and the lantern light in the room made it feel so cozy.
