It was lovely. It was quiet and away from people, v close to local amenities and sites.
The WiFi is spotty but that is no criticism, it was great to know i could just read a book without constantly checking my screen.
Will definitely come again.

A great, cute and quiet retreat, which I regrettably only stayed in for one night, as I enjoyed eating my takeaway pizza (rock'n'roll) sat out as the sun set and listening to the wildlife. Would definitely return if I'm in the area again, recommend.

Me and my husband have stayed at this beautiful shepards hut twice now and its so peaceful well kitted out with everythink you need for your stay the owners are very welcoming and always happy to help .

We forgot to ask if there were any pillows with feathers due to allergies.

We used to stay in certain hotels which often had office staff at conferences running amok at 0400 . Increased prices . Concrete car park views . Samey food . We looked out onto a beautiful horse paddock . They behaved impeccably. We stay here very comfortably with our little dog and anonymous chain hotels a thing of the past .

Stayed in Paddock view Shepherds hut for 2 nights for my birthday surprise. Lovely and cosy hut with all you need for a short break. Beautiful view over towards the Vale of Belvoir in the day and lucky enough to have 1 clear night to see the wonderful night time stars. Owners very friendly and quickly sorted one small issue we had. Walked across fields to nearby garden centre for breakfast which was great and also recommend the self service farm shop nearby which is only small but has a great range of fresh products. Highly recommended
