La Kasbah d'Ouzoud

What a bad memory of this establishment. Room with sewer smell. Shower clogged. Cold all night. Dinner tajine barbecue lamb only on the bone, no meat. In the photos this hotel looks good but the reality is different. The next morning it was impossible to see the manager. There are much better in the same area.

One night stay in this hotel where you still need a car to go to the waterfalls, with a basic room with questionable hygiene and a pestilential smell of sewer return everywhere in the room and in the bathroom (No working air extractor) So the towels (which have already largely served their time) are damp, even before washing. No shower gel or shampoo available apart from a small 10 g soap which is used for hands and washing. There are also no hooks to hang your clothes in the bathroom, apart from the toilet seat.... The room is really basic and dark for bungalows, with no storage worthy of the name, with only 1 dusty shelf where you're afraid to put anything on it. The beds are as hard as a rock, the reversible air conditioning doesn't work well, so much so that we froze all night even when we turned it on full blast! As for breakfast, it is just insufficient: tea or coffee, 1 small Moroccan pancake, orange juice. A small slice of homemade cake, a small piece of Moroccan bread with homemade vanilla yogurt with two small cups (butter and jam). The receptionist is a server, bartender and receptionist, so it is not possible to get the service you expect. The housekeeper and the cook do not speak French or English. After having informed the establishment (the one which collects the rooms) of these really unbearable odor problems, we were told and admitted that the rooms were nevertheless rented like this during all the end-of-year holidays to avoid lose customers, all before doing the necessary renovation work! A little surprised by this kind of feedback where we admit to knowingly renting non-compliant rooms to do business! In any case, given the price paid directly, much more expensive than on booking, no commercial gesture was granted to us, nor even offered given that the boss (although aware of the anomalies from the very evening) did not leave any instruction and had become completely unreachable anywhere when it was time to pay the bill… Plus point: the very pleasant swimming pool (although not heated in winter) and the environment of the green garden. Unrecommendable establishment. Only the friendliness of the staff apparently influences the opinions which therefore do not reflect the reality of this hotel service far from the 9.1 points attributed to it. There are much better and cheaper places around and near the waterfall

Un véritable havre de paix, avec un paysage magnifique. Établissement décoré avec goût, très beaux jardins et très belle piscine. Personnel aux petits soins avec ma famille et moi même. Notre hôte était à notre écoute. Excellent repas et petit déjeuner traditionnel. Chambre / Appartement familial , literie impeccables. Un plus, le site des cascades n'est qu'à quelques minutes de la Kasbah. Ma famille et moi avons adoré cet établissement.
