This is one of the most scenic spots in Oudtshoorn! We loved the pool for a quick dip after excursions! The hospitality is out of this world! From breakfast baskets delivered to the room, to enjoying amazing dinner braai packs with side dishes, and having wildlife come right up to the tent to graze is just some of the perks of staying here! HIGHLY recommended! They offer game drives, stargazing, and many other amazing excursions on the property. Wonderful setting!

Stayed in tent 6, great views, fab Braai, warm fire, brilliant host. Comfortable bed and epic shower Dinner and breakfast packs were delicious. Walking the grounds we saw different antelope, birds small mammals. Relaxing and beautiful spot.

We stayed there for 1 night on our way from Cape Town to Plettenberg Bay as we wanted to take some back roads and enjoy the scenery. The booking procedure was very easy and the whole experience was great. The two tents we had were clean, we ordered the Braaipacks which was convenient and fun and the staff were very friendly. Our kids enjoyed running around and the playground. We visited in winter and it was cold at night but they had warm extra blankets as well as heated blankets which made it warm even at night. We will definitely come again.

Peaceful glamping with nature. This was a last minute booking and a great find…! My husband saw this advertised when most of our trip was already booked and planned but we made a last minute change to spend one night here, and it was our favourite of all! Our accommodation was exactly as the website said. Tents fully equipped with all you need for a comfortable night under canvas. There was a rustic but perfectly functioning kitchen area with gas stove, microwave, and toaster, plenty of pots and pans, and a small supply of tea and coffee, including 2 bottles of water already cooling in the fridge. Our tent had a large shower and toilet, and included a log burner, air con, eating and lounge area that opened out on to a decking area with your own BBQ. Everything was lovely and clean. We purchased a few supplies from the local supermarket before we arrived, including coals for the BBQ, but our hosts supplied fire lighters. We were in tent 10 which overlooked the small lake and as we were slightly elevated I think we had a better view. The pool area was a little basic and had just enough chairs for all, with towels provided, however you could get cold drinks and relax in the 39 degree heat! We BBQ’d and watched the sun set, and then star gazed until we found the ‘Southern Star’ only visible in the Southern hemisphere..! I got up at sunrise and sat on the veranda watching the impala walk around the lake, listening to the wildlife and generally being thankful for the experience

If you are looking for an amazing family holiday, look no further. You have everything you need in the tent. Even air conditioning! There are 2 pools and a safe to swim in dam. The Cango Caves is around the corner, you can interact with wildlife at the Cango ranch and see ostriches all nearby the camp. We were there over new years and it was so amazingly quiet. We will definitely go again!
