No hotel stay but a restaurant visit. We had a voucher for a three-way dinner for two people for €25. The menu card for this offer was extended. We chose the goat cheese salad as a privileged food and this was good. A nice piece of goat cheese, law warm, good. Then my husband took the chicken saté (three meals) with frites, crown pocket and atjar. That's good. For me fish and chips and that was a whole stick. Two nice pieces of tasteful fish in a crown thin layer with a lot of frites. Too much for me, a good fresh salsa. It was quite busy in the restaurant (on Thursday) and there was also a large group behind it, which meant we had to wait for a long time (almost three quarters) for the desserts: sorbet with fresh fruit and cream brulée with two balls of ice. This was a great deal of surprise, and we took our drinks off the bill, and we were very good, and we were very good at the service, and we were very good at the service. Smallness: a very dark parking area. Fortunately, the phone has a bag lamp. 😉

The hotel is very beautiful, fully equipped and advanced, the surrounding villa area is beautiful and quiet. The breakfast is very rich and the service is very good. There are many foods for dinner, and many locals eat here.

The hotel is 10 minutes away from the city center by car, breakfast is simple, check in at 2 pm, rigid and inhumane

Very enthusiastic about this hotel! What a beautiful building! Beautiful spacious room, fantastic breakfast room with an extensive buffet and in the middle of the center but still quiet. We will surely go back again!

Ideal when traveling by train. It's just a little further from the centre, but with 15 minutes walking, it's fine to do. Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Very quiet, despite the location on the railway. The breakfast is reasonably overpriced with 21.50 per person, so we have made breakfast in a coffee/juice bar nearby. All of all a good stay for a good price.

Nice new hotel (open from march 2024), modern equipped clean rooms and frendly (young) personnel, good food. Situated almost in the city centre of Breda (15 minutes walk through the trainstation and city park) and besides the train and bus station. It's easy to park your car next door at the P&R parkinglot on top of the trainstation. Very nice location for a city visit.

The hotel carries both names because it's located in two buildings. Be aware though, that this is not a hotel for anyone with mobility issues. Neither building seems to have a working lift and there are some extremely steep stairs if you are located in the Tulip Hotel. The rooms are not very big but they do have everything you need (although I couldn't get my heating to work). Breakfast costs extra and is not cheap, but there is an amazing selection of hot and cold foods and the staff will happily bring you any type of coffee you wish. The staff are lovely and very helpful. There is a nice large bar area for relaxing in. I would think this hotel would be great for people on business on a budget. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre and Grote Markt as well as about 10 minutes' walk from the train station.

We have chosen the hotel because of its location close to Rotterdam and the motorway. We had some work to do, so decided to take a Skyline Suite, so we had some space to sit and work. Regrettably the suites are made for a romantic outing. Being on the 13th floor there is no worry that somebody looks into the room. The hotel also takes an extra € 150 as bond, in case you make a mess of the room. There is a separate toilet. The bathroom area is huge. Two wash basins and lot of space, regrettably there were no glasses available. We used the carton coffee cups to drink from. A huge batch in an open area, which was not used. An open room again with 2 showers and ‘rainforest’ shower heads in the ceiling. The water pressure was not high enough to really make them work. Also no towel rails or towels provided in that room. So - unless you were prepared - you had to walk into the space with the bath in , to get towels. Only 2 towels are provided, large enough to wrap a child in… but not big enough for an adult. The quality was inferior and not nice big and fluffy for a room with so many water features. Again only 2 larger towels so if you wanted a bath and a shower, you had to use a wettish towel for the second use. No table where you could use a room service meal , nor decent chairs. No desk either, instead a make table with a big mirror. Two lounge chairs, where you can only lie in, next to the bed where you can lie in. The bed is big, but the mattress did not fit the bed! On both sides you had 15 cms space. The room has a coffee machine, with 4 coffee pods. So you’d better not be a coffee drinker. A small fridge is also present, with 2 small bottles of water, so no min bar!! For a room which costs over € 300 this can be used as a nice romantic getaway with your secret friend … but bring your own ice box, towels and coffee!!

I have had the most wonderful experience within you breakfast area with your breakfast chec Daniella. I have been to lots of hotels and for me the breakfast experience counts most. I asked Daniella to assist me with making egg mixed with mushrooms and some fresh chillies. Without any hesitation whe made sure to find what I needed without any effort by looking within your kitchen area. She made me feel welcoming and made sure I have what I need. I asked for a hot sauce as well and she made that possible as well. The reason why I say this that from the few van der valk hotels I have stayed has not made the effort at breakfast to make my needs feel as important as the stay. So I would like to tanks Daniella from the bottom of my heart for making this possible and going the extra mile for a avid van der valk customer. Will definitely come back because of her.
