La Sultana Oualidia

This place is about 3 hours from Marrakesh and the hotel had organised our travel by Tahiti Luxury services (Mohamed) @tahiriluxuryservices but definitely worth it if you want a quiet relaxing hotel. Its residence has only 12 unique rooms, you are greeted by a beautiful cast iron gate that then takes you to a floral manicured walkway to reception. The feel is almost Grecian Arabic with a little Hamptons for good measure. The receptionist Omyma could not have done enough, you are given a butler mobile phone so they can be contacted and can organise anything you wish. We had a quick tour round which consisted also of seeing the wonders of the sea they had caught in air rated baskets so your lunch or dinner is a fresh as coming out the sea at that moment. Our room had a jacuzzi courtyard, large room, large sitting area, huge wardrobe. You can't help but feel the beautiful calm tranquility about the place but did not feel stuffy or like I had arrived at a place I did not know, it felt weirdly comfortable like I had been before or very homely. The Spa and Gym are inside a grotto type setting almost carved out inside the landscape of the building. The Spa has a heated pool and Jacuzzi, Sauna, and steam rooms for Hammam. You can also do any activity you desire there too, kayaking, fishing, bird watching, bike riding and horse riding to name but a few. The food: If you love fish this is the right place for you, the simplest of food dishes they add simple herbs and spices, absolutely beautiful! They also have traditional dishes, pasta with spider crab or Rock Lobster. The pool wouldn't look out of place in Thailand, with the Bali carved cabanas draped in white linen and cushions piped in teals and blues. I could go on and on. My closure gesture would be that like all these places they would not be as good without the staff and I've got to say they have the loveliest from Omyma at reception - Hussain at the pool bar - Hanana at breakfast with her great smile, Abdul , thank you for looking after us for the activities. We visited La Sultana Oualidia at the end of a two week tour of Morocco. It was the absolute BEST way to end our vacation. La Sultana is beautifully located on a lagoon rich with bird life, sand bars and beaches for swimming. The rooms are beautifully decorated, Kingsize plus very comfortable bed with private terrace and jacuzzi and lovely ocean/lagoon views. I enjoyed morning exercises in the garden led by their fitness instructor and got to try out their new padel tennis court. The warm hospitality and excellent service from the staff was outstanding. We particularly enjoyed selecting our live sea food dinner (lobster) and having it freshly grilled. We enjoyed hammam treatments and massages. on our last night in Morocco, the staff surprised us with a sunset dinner at the beach in a Berber tent. We cannot say enough good things about this lovely hotel. We would love to return and try out their sister hotel in Marrakech.

Incredible service and location. Overlooking the lagoon and Atlantic sea. La Sultana is totally faultless and one of the best places I have ever stayed. Book an amazing hamam experience. The infinity pool is huge. Grounds are spotless and staff exceptionally helpful.

Absolutely perfect! I manage a hotel company of upscale properties in 10 countries and can say that this romantic boutique hotel is perfect. It’s romantic, quaint, has all amenities and options, has incredible personalized service and technology. An absolute must.

The setting of the hotel is exceptional! I loved to watch the slow progression of the tide in and out of the lagoon with wading birds following the tide line. The gardens are beautifully tended...flowers everywhere! The staff are delightfully attentive and are a great credit to the management. I would love to return...fingers crossed.

Wow! This hotel is amazing! We have never experienced better guest services and we have stayed at many 5 star hotels. Upon arrival, we were assigned a butler and given a mobile phone with which to communicate with him at any time, and he was ultra responsive. Whether you prefer your room serviced while you are in or not, no worries, housekeeping comes within minutes of your request. We were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel sent two dozen roses. The venue is lovely with attention to every detail. The suites are large and comfortably appointed. The mattress on our bed was so good that we could not feel each other move. Our room had two soaking tubs - one inside and another outside on our private terrace, which looked out onto spectacular views of the lagoon and sea. The hotel pools are gorgeous and very well maintained, as are the grounds. The hotel itself is situated on the side of a hill so stairs are required, but when asked, we were shown a route from our room, via the elevator, through the spa, to the restaurant, which sits on the water. The food is incredible! The quality of the fresh seafood goes without saying, but the breakfast was divine, too, So much fantastic food! With its lovely location, beautiful property, friendly staff and world class dining, I could not recommend this hotel highly enough.

one of the most amazing places we've stayed at. Great property, great food, great service. we stayed in the treehouse room and it was one of the coolest rooms we've ever been in. Highly recommend coming out and staying at this property. They went above and beyond for our honeymoon as well.

The staff were outstanding. We also received an upgrade on our room, truly a special place. Deserted sandy beaches and plenty to do - horse riding, surfing, beautiful spa, cooking classes etc. Highly recommended. Easy drive from Marrakech
