We have stayed at this hotel for a few years when we have family gatherings. The staf is extremely accommodating and quick to help while remaining very professional. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable, and really a pleasant place to stay. The hotel is extremely clean and modern. Misty (Front Desk Manager) was first rate and ensured every one of us felt welcome a d taken care of - she is a prized employee and they are lucky to have her!!! I HIGHLY recommend staying here on your next Ottumwa visit!

The motel is on the north edge of town on Business 63. It's an older motel that has been renovated and nice, despite small rooms. The rooms are attractive and clean. The vanity is in the same room as the toilet and shower. Our television didn't work at first (they're changing service providers and it's not an easy transition), but we immediately got a different room and the manager was so gracious and accommodating! WiFi worked well and the breakfast had the usual Quality Inn hot foods (meat and omelettes) as well as waffles, fruit and the usual sugar and carbs. Nice! The room is snug (we had two queen beds), but worked for us.

So I have stayed here a number of times and I often travel 50-60 nights a year. This particular Super 8 is consistently clean, well maintained, has a good breakfast, nice pool, and ALWAYS honors the Wyndham DIAMOND upgrade if they have a suite available. Their customer service is great and they check you in quickly. Another excellent stay. I give it 5 stars based on the fact that it meets or exceeds my expectations in the class of hotel it is - budget friendly national chain. It is not being compared to the Waldorf Astoria.

I was only in town for one night, and just like my previous stays in this hotel, it was excellent. Located immediately off of the highway meant I didn't need to drive in town at all. I lost my roo key at something while out with my friends, and getting a new one at 3 am was not a problem
