"This is a cheap and cheerful hotel in the heart of downtown Ottawa. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful, willing to bend over backwards to make your stay a pleasant one. The rooms are surprisingly large, and even though they are oddly laid out (this must have been an apartment building at some time in its past) and the style is not at all modern, they are clean and have virtually everything you could possibly need, with extensive balconies showcasing some of the best of the city. The continental breakfast offerings are some of the best I've ever had; fresh. plentiful, varied, tasty, and available for a reasonable duration of time every morning. There is even parking onsite; the only drawback is that it's paid parking, and not cheap at that, but considering its location it's some of the best prices in the city. I have been twice now and I will come back as often as I can!"

"The hotel has great location, only steps away from metro line station which connects VIA, Rideau and parliament area. Level 4 has pool, play ground and laundry though detergent is not provided. Washing and drying cost $3 each. No kettle and tea cups in the room. Air conditioner is aged and make noise"

"We had a fantastic stay at Residence Inn Ottawa Airport! I traveled with my wife and our three kids (ages 7 to 11), and the hotel exceeded our expectations. Everything was super clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the shower was just what we needed after long days of exploring—great water pressure and plenty of hot water! The room felt cozy and spacious enough for a family of five, which is no easy feat. We all felt right at home. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was super convenient for everything we needed. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a comfy, hassle-free stay in Ottawa. We’d definitely come back!"

"The location and environment are impeccable, and I have to say a few more words about the food and service. Since we arrived after 9pm, the French meal that ended at 10pm was not suitable, so the waiter introduced us to the international fusion cuisine opposite. The taste was good and met our expectations, but the variety was a little less. Diago at the front desk is what I want to introduce today. We are a family of three traveling, and I booked a room in my husband's name and my own name. That Diago actually asked a strange question, ”Are you three staying in one room?” I just thought he was not proficient in business and didn't care. Then he said that the single room I booked was queen size and he helped me upgrade it to king size. He also said that the double room I booked was also a queen size bed. I showed him the order, ”1.81 meters big bed”, he still insisted that it was a queen size. My husband also said that other people's king size might be 2.00 meters. I asked if he could also help me upgrade to king size, and he readily agreed. We thanked him. Walking into the room, the small window saw other people's roofs and a road. Where is my view? I went downstairs to argue with Diago. The 1.81-meter bed I booked is already a king size, but you didn’t upgrade it for me. I booked a room with a view, so what about the view? Diago said that 1.81 meters refers to the length of the bed. I asked him in return if the 1.51-meter and 1.31-meter beds provided by the hotel also refer to the length? Until then, I still thought he was not proficient in his business. Diago was speechless and said that I would go and ask. When he came back, he argued that the room I gave you was bigger, but what I wanted was the view! I said that the view was my first consideration and the room size ranked second. Diago hesitated for a long time before saying that there was no room with a view tonight, ”What?!” At this time, I firmly believed that his previous series of actions were intentional! As compensation, Diago gave me a simple breakfast for two people in the fourth-floor lounge for free the next day. To be honest, the breakfast was really average."

"The room was converted from two apartments. There are two bedrooms for three people, each with a large bed. There is also a simple kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and sink. It is very cozy. The breakfast is also OK, with eggs, meat, fruit, coffee, milk, yogurt, various breads and cakes, etc. The location is also very good, close to the attractions. The overall feeling is good. The only problem is that there is no parking space in front of the hotel, and you need to park at your own expense, 15 yuan a day"

"The service was great. They offered us cookies when we checked in and they tasted fresh. The room keys worked and the room was clean. The breakfast was a good assortment of products and tasted great. The kids enjoyed the waffles and the fresh fruits."

"The hotel was convenient to the Ottawa airport and had free shuttle service which was our reason for choosing this hotel We were in town for a family wedding and had a 2 night stay. Room was comfortable and quiet at the end of the corridor (at our request) We were disappointed that $275 per night did not include any kind of breakfast or even a discount coupon for the restaurant inside the hotel so we were glad to be able to have the choice of several restaurants more reasonably priced less than a five minute walk for dinner and 2 breakfasts."

"Clean hotel with comfortable rooms. About 20 minutes to the main attractions downtown. Really nothing to complain about except a few really minor details. 1. There is not exhaust fan in the bathroom. 2. There is a big gap under the door that let's noise and light in at night 3. The elevators are really squeaky:); and 4. They should have orange juice, not orange 'drink' for breakfast."
