The location is great. However, I was looking forward to soaking in the bath, but there was no bathtub in the room. When I booked the room, one of the room pictures has it. I was a bit disappointed.

Very comfortable, clean bedding. The surrounding landscape is charming, the commodity market is at the back door of the hotel, and it takes only 3 minutes to walk by cable car. The breakfast is very rich.

I really like the accommodation at Fairmont, which is classical and has a rich history. The location is good, and they helped us change to a twin room for free. I was very happy and it was definitely worth the money.

Living here, whether you are going to Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal, Byward Market, or the National Gallery, it is only a five to ten minute walk away. Staying at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier Hotel is like walking into the castle where princes and princesses live in fairy tales. Thick carpets are spread under the feet, luxurious chandeliers, European columns and round arches, and the long corridors are brightly lit... You can feel the retro era and aristocratic atmosphere everywhere.

The room is super big and clean, and the waiter's attitude is very good! The cleaning lady in the room is even more friendly! The facilities are a little old, but the hotel is adjacent to Capitol Hill, the location is very good, there are many restaurants nearby, especially the hotel's outdoor restaurant, the scenery is very beautiful! There are many Fairmont hotels in Canada. I just visited the castle in Quebec and came to the same one in Ottawa. The similarity is that they are all in an excellent location. This one is within a five to ten minute walk of Parliament Hill, the canal, Byward, and the National Gallery. The service is very good and the breakfast is good.

The hotel is located right by the canal, very close to Parliament Hill. The room facilities are relatively old, but the hygiene is OK. Slippers, shampoo, shower gel, kettle and free water are provided in the room, but there is no toothpaste or toothbrush. The biggest disadvantage is that the air conditioner is a bit loud.

A bit disappointed. Apart from the good location, there is nothing special about the room. Parking is expensive. The front desk of the hotel keeps charging duplicate fees. I don’t understand why it is the number one hotel group in Canada?

The environment is really good, the interior is amazing, it feels like it's not inferior to the Fairmont in Quebec, but the decoration is old, the room is relatively small, and the bathroom is also small, maybe because it's an old house, but overall it's not bad, and it's very convenient for travel

The hotel is in an excellent location, and you can walk to various places around. The hotel is an ancient building, very beautiful. I stayed there in a hurry and didn't have time to join the hotel's tour. It's a pity. Next time I stay there, I must stay in a view room, facing the lake is the best view

The location of the hotel is amazing, just next to Parliament Hill. The overall feeling is good, and the photos are nice. The lobby is beautifully decorated. The biggest problem is that parking is expensive. Now the hotel can only valet parking, and you can't park by yourself. The price is 60 Canadian dollars per day, including tax. It's really expensive. The room fee is only over 300 Canadian dollars.
