Freezing cold room we go extremely sick and we were kicked out in the morning. Wouldnt wish this to my worst enemy....

Old building, USB and wall plugs were broken, Floor carpet was dirty

I did not like rooms' prices compared to rooms they are offering. Very low quality rooms.

The only advantage is that it is close to the city center.

The hotel is located in the center of the city. There are Chinese restaurants around. Parking fees are relatively favorable. recommend.

To be honest, it's really a lady! It's the kind of motel in the US and Canada. It's a place to sleep, and there are no facilities. It's lackluster. On the first day of check-in, the toilet handle was broken. Fortunately, it was repaired on the same day, otherwise what should I do! The only point is that the location is very good, and it takes ten minutes to walk to the main attractions in the city.

We called Wyndham directly for a reservation at the Days Inn Ottawa. We wanted a hotel near the National Arts Center for a concert we would be attending. I asked for a room with 2 beds. Upon arrival, we were surprised to see that we had been given a motel-like room along the parking area. The room had carpet, and a poignant door that smelled like Febreze had been sprayed on it. The back of the chair at the desk, was broken and there was mould along the bathroom counter and sink. When we heard barking coming from the next room we immediately called the front desk, as I have allergies to dust and animals. I was told that all rooms with 2 beds were “pet friendly” and have carpet. I explained that I have allergies which cause asthma. Mary Anne, (at reception), told me that it was well explained on their website and that I should have checked that before reserving. I told her that I had booked over the phone and that no one had specified that information . She then told me, that she’d see what she could do and that she’d call me back in 10 minutes. She never called back. Unfortunately, I did not sleep well that night due to issues with asthma. Those who give this establishment a high rating, may either have had a room on the inside of the hotel or were paid to write a good review. I can only write about our experience and I can honestly say that we will NEVER go there again. The only positive thing that I can say about the Days Inn Ottawa is that it is near the Parliament buildings, NAC and a few restaurants.

I found 3 bedbugs in one night . I didn’t sleep for whole night . While I checkout I show them the pictures of bedbugs and they told me they will refund my money back but they didn’t refund me .it’s good to stay in expensive hotel batter then sleep in bedbugs hotel .

Sketchy area, no restaurant/bar in hotel despite the website suggesting there would be. Room was well worn. Charged for parking despite the website suggesting there would not be a charge, If you're looking for a cheap place to stay in a sketchy area close to downtown and Byward Market, this fills the bill except it is overpriced considering the state of the property.

We were so impressed! Do not listen to the people who wrote 1 star reviews. Marianne at front desk could not do more to help with any questions! The service was A-1! We googled Hotel close to Friel Residence Ottawa University as we were dropping our granddaughter off for her first year at Ottawa University! Days Inn Wyndham came up and although some of the reviews were not favourable we wanted to be close to Residence and boy were we happy! Clean hotel! Comfy beds! Cheap 10$ a day parking minutes from downtown! Thank you Marianne and Greg and the rest of the staff at Days Inn! See you again soon! Lily s Grandma. Anna. P.
