Comfortable room and bathroom with bathtub. Perfect for a short stay with great connection to Kyoto station by commuter train (12 mins) right outside the hotel. All staff was very sweet. Coffee and tea available all day into the evening for free in the hotel restaurant or for takeaway. Recommend!

Apart from breakfast, the so-called two stops from Kyoto Station is actually two stops of the Shinkansen. It is not convenient to go to Kyoto city. Even if you go to Otsu Sanai-dera Temple, there is no need to stay in Otsu. The room is more than 20 years old and close to the railway. There is a little noise. There is only one blanket and the temperature is adjusted by air conditioning. I caught a cold today. Once I arrived in Kyoto city, the hotel was new and comfortable. I have traveled to nearly 40 countries and made a mistake this time.
