Aloegrove is a stunning place. Johan and Ivy have made an amazing job of developing their safari lodge/reserve. The rooms and the views are simply stunning. They are conservationists and give animals that can’t be in nature a great life.

Spent two nights here and wish we had more! What a fantastic gem and incredible value for the price. Great food, amazing service, Ivy and Johan are such great hosts. We really enjoyed the drive and found everyone here to be such a pleasure. With a nice pool and a spectacular view from every angle, we really enjoyed this spot and hope to return for a longer stay next time, just to relax. They sorted everything for us with regards to our Cheetah Conservation Fund visit as well. Truly, just as good a stay as in the 5* resorts we've visited on this trip.

We enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay at Aloegrove in May 2024. The accommodation is fantastic, very peaceful with fantastic panoramic views. Staff at Aloegrove were amazing, from meeting us at the car to help us to our lodge to the amazing food served at breakfast and dinner. We were also able to get a small lunch one of the days. Special mention to the chef who catered vegetarian food for us with each night at dinner something different. It was delicious and such care and attention to make sure we enjoyed, it was very much appreciated. The accommodation is on a hill top around 20 minutes down a gravel private road. The directions provided via email were very easy to follow. We took part in the evening game drive and also hiked on one of the recommended routes around the farm. Both were excellent. Aloegrove also helped arrange for a visit to Cheetah Conservation Fund. Cannot recommend Aloegrove enough. Thank you!

Really nice chalets with indoor bbq and all equipment provided. Small pool but beautiful views. Staff kind and helpful. 2 hr Tour is one cheetah one lion and one leopard. You can go inside the cheetah cage. My family enjoyed the tour. Cheetah conservation fund was well worth a visit and Alogrove arranged this for us.

We needed to break the long drive back to Windhoek for a night, plus the advertisement of a "Safari Lodge" appealed to us. Long (towards the end steep) drive to the building once you pass through the farm gates. Situated on a hill with good views from the pool, main building and the rooms/balcony. Clean, spacious room. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed a delicious set dinner. We were only 6 guests. I Did not join the “feeding the cats” drive which apparently was very interesting and also generally informative about wildlife in Namibia and worth doing. Wlan available. Okay for one night but found the price a bit steep.

Lodge on the ridge of a hill, just beautiful and with absolute tranquility, great sunsets; rooms are clean and have great views as well, luxury rooms are very spacious; the lodge itself is on the rustic side and after dinner you are not encouraged to stay inside, lights are out; but there's a nice fire place on the terrace and the starry night, so you really do not want to be inside; We had a game drive with Johan, which was very, very informative and we even saw some animals we didn't see in Etosha; the encounter with the cheetah was very moving and Johan took a lot of time to explain everything. We wish good luck with finding a mate for Chiara and perhaps Diego as well and hope to come back one time!

I stay in this exceptionnel lodge with my daughters in august 2023 for one night ... and I will come back as soon as possible. You have to drive 25 km before arriving at he lodge, build on the hill: with a 360° view on the wild! I recommand the feeding of lion's and other "big cats" ... impressive! The staff is there, smiling and so pretty! The owner of the lodge will guide you for discovering the place ... to do! Thank you very much!

We loved the location even if we had already spent 4 weeks in beautiful Namibia. The leopard, lion and cheetah tour with Johan was really worth it, both for the animals and for the talk with him. The ladies in the lodge were also very nice. We used the private road to drive to the Cheetah Fundation: 35 minutes drive for an interesting visit (worth doing).
