The location is very quiet because it is located in line with the former Bank of Japan building, not along the canal. It is close to the mall shopping street, so it is close to the sushi shop, the cake house in Hanazono town and the shinkuraya. There is also Lawson next door. The parking lot can be deposited from 13:00 before check-in, so it is ideal for sightseeing such as the canal, the must-see Otaru Art Village, and the Otaru City Literature Museum. As soon as you leave the canal, you will see a local-priced shop that is not a tourist price, and I think the location is wonderful. In addition, the view from the hotel room overlooking the harbor was wonderful. We were in a smaller condition, extra bed, in a not large room, but we were very comfortable. I think it's also because the door is thick or I can't hear the sound of other rooms at all. However, the bath in the room is small. Instead, the large communal bath on the top floor is not a hot spring, but the view is good and clean. It is also a good impression that the lockers that can be used were restricted so that they would not be crowded, probably because of corona measures. Breakfast buffet does not include fish * or crabs that tourists to Hokkaido are looking for. Still, it is delicious with local vegetables and Alice Farm jams. The menu is more Western than Japanese, but there are many warm foods and it warms up even in snowy Otaru. Thickly sliced bacon and steamed vegetables were very delicious. Also, the staff was young and I liked it very much even though it was crispy. The front desk staff guided me in the snow when I entered the parking lot. It was also active at the breakfast venue, so it seems that it will help where human hands are needed. It is also advanced as a business hotel that can calm down with a lot of new indirect lighting. We recommend that the husband of the corner-style liquor store, which is located at the edge of the arcade after dinner, is the most friendly and friendly if you drink a glass of sake. Great stay at Hotel Torifito! The lady who served us was extremely helpful. It was raining when we checked in and she helped us bring our baggage into our rooms and offered to lend us umbrellas! She also told us to park opposite the hotel for more affordable parking! (1100 yen for 24h). The hotel room was very new, bright, clean and spacious too. Will stay here again when we come back to Otaru!

Very nice place to stay and room size is large by Japanese standard. If you drive, it is a good place to stay otherwise it can be a long walk to the touristy areas

I used it with my wife as my lunar calendar prayer. It is a very atmosphere inn facing the canal in about 10 minutes walk from Otaru station. The first thing I used was 2014.1, and the snow was loaded as well as this time, but it is the third time this time across the use of 2019.6. This year, there were corona and heavy snow, and two nights and three days were basically in a state of locking. But this inn (my) provided a space for warm (of course warm) in various ways. Especially this time I focus on work clothes. Because many guests are used, there is no sense of inconvenience and there is no need to change clothes at the time of moving in the building, so it was very comfortable for the life of the otori. As a result, the time to relax in the rest space in the building is longer than in the room, and the whole inn seemed to be my room. Also, I felt hospitality in the voice from the staff who met at 々, and I was relieved that it was preventing invasion other than guests. At this time, the need for anti-infectious measures was required, but alcohol disinfection was not only necessary, but also ultraviolet rays and baths were equipped with masks and detailed measures. As for the meal, breakfast is also great with the taste menu and can correspond to all men and women. There was no big dish due to the influence of the corona, but the menu was rich and I was able to enjoy it slowly while watching the Otaru Canal. On the other hand, dinner was prepared for two nights this time in the inn. It was very delicious, but it was a little disappointing that there were few meat (rather than saying it). I didn't go there to do something there because of the snow, but I used it to cool a little up the bath or enjoy the scenery. There was also a hammock for summer, so summer may be the main performance. However, this time I had a very good trip. I would like to stay in the Furukawa again.

Breakfast n dinner are a delight n foodie experience especially in room and whether in the different dinning areas western or Japanese. Such a delightful experience to have both like we did. Food n beverage is excellent and we totally enjoyed our 2nd and 3rd nights dinner in room. Onto the onsen now. There are 2 public onsen areas and I tried both. I was totally blown away by the evening session at the onsen located at the lower level. Out of this world is the description with Indoor hot pool Outdoor hot pool Outdoor cold pool Sauna n steam room n Fireplace The onsen on the lobby level is different as it has a high tech sauna room with a hot area where you can lie down to enjoy the heat on back or front. Car park is ample and a very very short drive to the lobby drop off pick up with a shelter should it rain. A must come n try

旧小樽商工会議所をリノベーションした旧館は　部屋が多少狭いですが 昔の経済人の会議室だったのか？と思いを馳せました。 バス　トイレはきれいで　大浴場がなくても満足です。 1階には　レトロな雰囲気をバックに　写真が撮れる一角があり　楽しめました。 3階での朝食バイキング会場は　天井高く　レトロなシャンデリアが下がり その昔　ニシンで栄えていたころの小樽びとたちの社交場を想像出来　又バイキングの内容も和洋折衷で申し分なく　美味しく頂きました。

we made a short trip to Otaru to visit some of its good izakayas, we took a room with 4 beds, it was a nice surprise the distribution of the spaces in the room. Our room had two almost separate areas, in the main area two beds and a couch, the second area was a small terrace with the other two beds, the access to the terrace was a staircase in the room. the terrace was a very pleasant space, even though it is not possible to stand in the terrace area because the ceiling is very low, the terrace gives an air of independence being in the same room, each bed has its space to recharge the cell phone and has an independent lamp. our room had an elegant glass balcony with a beautiful view. the shower area is very elegant with a fairly modern and clean design. the television system was fun too, our room had a projector with a very good video quality I really liked my stay at the hotel and I hope to stay there again soon
