I stayed for one night, I didn't see the waiter from beginning to end, and the check-in and check-out were all done by the machine. The room is not soundproof. But the free coffee in the lobby is well received.

The environment of the girls' quadruple room is okay, but there are noises from walking on the boardwalk, and there is a bit of smell from outside. Overall, it's okay. The location is near the seaside, which is pretty good.

Stayed at Sho Inn for 1 night in Otaru. It’s a little out of the way from the Otaru station if you do not drive, but they offer shuttle service to the Otaru Canal and Otaru station when you check out! The host Hideshi was incredibly kind, even going the extra mile to bring my neck pillow, which I had accidentally left in the accommodation after check out, to the Otaru station at my preferred time that evening. It was a gesture testament of the great hospitality of the Japanese. Would definitely recommend this place especially if you’re a solo traveller / prefer your own private space instead of going to those hostels with double deckered beds and curtains!

建議定下鋪 上鋪沒有隔板 上面是牆 前台有個小哥很帥 讓我犯花痴 床很好睡 室內有點冷 因為衹有一處暖風口 空調好像沒有運轉 wifi幾乎沒有信號。。一樓是酒吧 可以免費點酒但我沒試過 一樓可以看到外面的景色 這條街絕美 很幸運來到了這裏 雖然離南小樽很遠我要拖着行李箱走將近一公里 還是上坡路 但是價格很好 我愛小樽

Otaru B&B advantage: 1 Good location. The B&B is located at the top of the commercial street, very close to the Music Box Hall. It only takes 1-2 minutes to walk there. You can hear the steam clock chiming the hour in the room. It is not far from Minami-Otaru Station to the B&B. 2 rooms are large and have new facilities. There is a February 2024 sticker on the bathroom door, haha shortcoming 1 A little decoration smell 2. Doors and windows must be opened to disperse the odor, but if there are no screen doors and windows (the public living room is equipped with one), small insects will come in. 3 Room 206 is very hot due to the western sun. Although it has air conditioning, there is a smell in the room and it is difficult to close the window.
