The hotel is a bit dated, but impeccably clean and very nice details.
There is no old smell as per other reviewers and the view from Ocean Front Twin Room A was amazing!
We also enjoyed the onsen a lot and will definitely recommend to anyone who is driving

Great scene and hotel with special castle feel. Good service and nice staff. Recommend to those interested parties better drive to there.

the hotel is located in the mountain with beautiful view. hotel room smelled old but big and clean. the private onsen in our room was great. the ocen view was fantastic and we faced Rainbow ocean since we saw several rainbow every mornings when we stayed. their staff.are very helpful, good and polite.

Enjoyed the private onsen facing the ocean inside the room. It was so relaxing!!! The hotel restaurant served great French cuisine with great services. Friendly hotel staff helps my mom and my aunt ordered an in room massage services, and they were impressed with the skills of the therapists. On my next visit to Otaru, definitely would love to stay here again.

The room has a classic feel, and the facilities are a little old. The view is very good, and the area around the hotel is very quiet. You can walk around Shukutsu Port by yourself, and feel the port of Otaru. You can open the curtains and overlook the mountains. The scenery is great. The following are photos taken near the hotel. The breakfast and dinner are also very rich. If you plan to stay overnight in Shukutsu Port, this hotel is a good choice
