Hotel Torifito Otaru Canal Reviews

Location was a bit of a walk from the station but near the tourist spots. I love that it's near the canal and a convenience store. Rooms are well designed and comfortable. We like the pajamas. Breakfast was awesome!

1. Nice buffet breakfast 2. Located nearby Canal 3. Car parking charges is 1500 yen per day, but you can get 600 yen per day behind family mart nearby 4. Free hot bath facilties is plus point. 5. Nice yukata for adult provided

The room was clean and nice. The staff can speak English. Amenities are well maintained. Very close to the Otaru Canal.

All good but ppl with tattoo (s) are not allowed into the onsen but it was not mentioned upon check-in, so you only find out when you're inside…

Arrival experience was bad. An old man in check-in counter's attitude was terrible, keep chasing us to sending car to garage parking, however he was the one slow in check-in process. Location a bit far from the famous souvenirs street. Bathroom was small with low ceiling.

👍🏽Pros: - Facilities in the room seems new. - Most of the front desk staffs are friendly and speak English - Close to most of attractions - There's a sliding door dividing the bathroom and the bedrooms, which helps to soundproof the sleeping area. 👎🏽Cons: - Far from Otaru station - Public bath is quite small. It would be crowded when there are more than 5 people in the public bath. - Only provides complimentary green tea bags, no black tea or coffee.

My mom and dad are staying in this room. They said everything was great except they found a large stain on the wall.

Location is closed to sightseeing points. Room is nice and clean. Staff are helpful is easy to communicate in English.

Located near the otaru canal and also a brief 10mins walk from the morn Market. The staff was friendly. Onsen was a bit small but good enuf for a quick soak.

Great stay at Hotel Torifito! The lady who served us was extremely helpful. It was raining when we checked in and she helped us bring our baggage into our rooms and offered to lend us umbrellas! She also told us to park opposite the hotel for more affordable parking! (1100 yen for 24h). The hotel room was very new, bright, clean and spacious too. Will stay here again when we come back to Otaru!

Great location and good service. Amenities is a different story, wifi is bad and the laundry machine is really small.

In the middle of the city centre. A 5mins walk to the attractions. Recommend to try the onsen. The hotel gives out clothes and guide to the onsen. Nice experience!

Large room compared to others, well furnished and very comfortable. All necessary furnishings similar to Western hotels. They have an onsite onsen and great location between the train station and the canal. Front desk is staffed so no fooling with machines to check on.
