The bus arrives at Hiraiwa Station at 13:25 and the Oito Line departs at 14:00, so we take advantage of this time to take a bath. This is the only mixed bathing establishment near Hiraiwa. We pass under the Oito Line guardrail and walk along the right bank of the Himekawa River. When we open the front door, there are very few footwear. We pay 600 yen for a day trip. We don't get a receipt. There is a sign saying to leave valuables at the front desk. We are told that the bath time is one hour. We go down the stairs towards the rock bath. When we open the door to the changing room, there is no lock, just shelves with baskets in some places. When we open the door, there is a faucet and shower on the left. There is a Kerorin bucket. There is no one there. A stream of hot water falls into the bathtub.
