We stayed in the sea view room, it was small and a little stuffy but the view was stunning. The location is great for walking to Cuartel Ruins, catching the Ferry and there are lots of restaurants/ stores nearby. The breakfast was basic but fresh.

A good budget hotel. Breakfast is basic as are the rooms. The bed was comfortable.

Lovely accommodation. Extremely comfy bed, breakfast included in our package was nice, and complimented by a lovely view over the ocean every morning. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful, They helped us to book out whale shark tour and also arranged a taxi for us back to Cebu city on our last day. Can’t give them enough credit for being great hosts. Would definitely come back if we’re ever in the area again.

Neat & clean little place to stay with a good breakfast. Room was basic but clean & the view fantastic. Breakfast served on the back deck overlooking the sea can’t be beaten. Nice place with super friendly & helpful staff.

The hotel was clean, the location was good, and it was nice to have a twin room. It was even better because there was a Kimchi House nearby, run by a Filipino, that sold unlimited pork belly for dinner. If I visit Oslob again, I will stay at this hotel.

Small but complete! And the beautiful scenery is so unreal! The boss and his wife are very enthusiastic! Breakfast is delicious! Although the boss is talkative and stern, he is very polite and kind! Will definitely come again next time! What a bargain!

This is a very clean and great hotel! But the downstairs can sing and the sound insulation is very poor! Totally unable to sleep!

Very disappointing and I would not recommend to anyone. Dirty bed sheets, dirty floors, lots of dead flies and bugs all around. Old food under the bed, noisy karaoke if in use, can go on until late and the WiFi didn’t work in the room at all. Dirty/mouldy toilet seat also?? The would be nice if it was cleaned properly, and updated a tad. The only positive I can say is that it’s near the ferry port. 50-100pesos if you get it yourself from up the road. The room needs a proper deep clean.

Babylon Oslob Guesthouse is a small multi-storey building located within walking distance of the Cuartel ruins. It has no lifts, and do manage your expectations that the room is neither spotless, spacious nor well-maintained. The bathroom is quite tiny. It does have access to a small and scenic beach, unfortunately not suitable for swimming. Breakfasts are freshly cooked ala minute, and though simple, tasty. The staff did respond quite quickly to show us how to adjust the water heater and the loose tap. The hotel's basic, and worthwhile only if you can get a good deal.

We had such a lovely stay here! It’s a small hotel that feels like a home stay, very personal. The room was very comfortable, the best bed I’ve slept in in Phillipines so far. AC was cold. There were many English channels on the TV. The manager was so helpful in helping us arrange activities, and told us what “good prices” are for several of the activities to make sure we pay a fair price. Overall very satisfied!

The staff was super sweet and was in a nice area BUT… bed bugs.

Pricey for what it offers. Floors were yucky and seemed to have not been mopped for years. I wouldn’t even consider this hotel a 1-star. They will make you wait for less than average breakfast. Update: What is your wrong with what I said? I was trying to tell the truth, nothing mean. How about try to offer clean floors and don’t try to hide behind your “small guesthouse” title as your pricing competes to that of 3 and even 4-star hotel in Cebu city. Also don’t say “God Bless” because your hearts are dirtier than mine based on your reaction to my honest feedback, you can strive to be better and learn to take criticisms more positively. Hyp0cr!tes!

We spent four nights here to swim with the whale sharks (twice). The staff are exceptionally helpful. Our breakfasts were filling and our room was wonderful. Very comfortable large bed, pillow, sheets were all very inviting for good sleep. The A/C, Cable TV, and Fridge were all appreciated. Instant hot water for showers. The best location in a neighborhood and friendly people.

I chose it on a short trip to Cebu, but accidentally chose it because at first I thought it was near the fish viewing spot (because looking at the map, it looked similar to the fish viewing spot map). Luckily, the property rents motorbikes, so you can quickly get to the whale shark in 20 minutes This place is great, peaceful and friendly, the food is also reasonable It's a pity that the program was too close so I couldn't visit nearby places (seeing the photos other people posted is also beautiful). The hotel staff are very welcoming and extremely supportive The room is neat, but there are roosters screaming loudly from 3-4 am in the surrounding people's houses, causing you to wake up a bit early.
