The location is great and we picked it because of this. Staff very friendly. We had a good size room. It was a bit cold in the room but we got a heater from the reception desk. The shower leaked badly and the water drained away really slowly (and also in the sink). The beds were fine. There’s no kettle in the room which we really missed having but there is a kitchen downstairs (but only 1 mug when we went). Good bar next door with tons of board games. The Dubliner pub across the road was a great find - really friendly and good food. Would recommend the viking biking and hiking tour of the 2 islands - was fantastic. Great location for the harbour and transport links.

On the positive note, staff were amazing and very welcoming and breakfast was very good. On the negative, before booking our room, we had read the reviews about the beds and thought people had exaggerated a bit but nope, the beds are noisy and not that comfortable. Shame because we liked the hotel very much. Hotel room kept very clean.
