Numa l Topp Apartments

Great space, great place and great grace. Elegantly planted behind the Royal Palace on the good side of Oslo, Norway. You feel like a royal yourself and most ammenitis if not all included. All in all great!

I am a frequent traveler to Oslo and have stayed in several places, but Numa is by far the best. I had a one-room apartment that was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with kitchen utensils, a washing machine, a dryer, a dishwasher, a kettle, and a coffee machine. Location is not in center city. But for me, the location was perfect—close to tram and bus stops, with many shops, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. I loved the thoughtful amenities, including tea, coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper, bath products, and many other small touches that made my stay incredibly convenient. The little gifts left in the room were such a nice gesture! Recommended if you are staying a week or more. If you are used to double bed, choose a double bed option, as I found the bed a little small. The place is cozy, well-maintained, and clean. There is no daily cleaning to apartments. But there was a cupboard in the first floor has extra towels and sheets if needed. This was my first time staying at a place with no reception and self-check-in, and I was a bit concerned, especially after a long overseas trip when my mobile wasn’t roaming and I had no internet. Fortunately, the entry code worked perfectly for the building, but not for the apartment. Once inside and connected to Wi-Fi, I contacted Numa via WhatsApp, and the issue was resolved immediately. The heat was not working either, they resolved the issue immediately. Their prompt responses reassured me that, despite there was no a physical reception, there was always professional staff available at my fingertips. I will definitely stay here again next time!

Excellent apartment with nice design and excellent amenities. We booked an XL flat which is located on ground floor courtyard. It has 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms (heated floor) which is really nice for family holidays. Location is confident with all tourist spots a short drive away.

The apartments have NO functional WiFi or internet service. They are advertised as having “free WiFi” but I have not had proper internet in the 14 nights that I have stayed here. Management offers a 15% discount on affected nights or a reimbursement of unused nights if I choose to leave early. Neither option adequately compensates me as a guest, and the hotel management refuses to be accountable for its poor/non-existent internet service.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Unfortunately I will never stay here again. The room was nice, easy to check in and we had everything we needed. BUT while we were on our way back to the hotel about 11:30 PM the fire alarm went off. We stood outside and froze for maybe 20 minutes (the others had been there even longer), before securitas came and we were told that it was due to a faulty fire alarm sensor and everything was in order now, so we could go to bed… We go to bed, and the fire alarm goes off once more. This was not very pleasant in the middle of the night. Then it goes off AGAIN (no. 3) at 02:30 in the morning, even though we were told once again that everything was now in order. After this it was difficult to sleep. We were debating on going home in the middle of the night because we didn’t wanna keep waking up to the loud alarm. This was supposed to be a cozy, romantic trip for us (we rarely sleep in hotels and rarely travel on holiday). Customer service was absolutely AWFUL. First I spoke to Numa on the phone, who informed me that I had to send an email, and then I would be compensated for the burden. But when I got in touch with them by email, they were very brief in their responses and said approximately "No. You will not receive compensation. Done with the matter". Very unprofessional. expect that several of the others that evening have also had to argue with them on the phone/email.
