Best Hotels in Oshino, Japan

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Highland Resort and Spa, and I must say, it was a truly remarkable experience. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the Japanese restaurant, where we were delighted by the delectable and authentic cuisine. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was just as impressive. Additionally, the onsen at the resort was a true oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation. The tranquil atmosphere and soothing hot springs provided the perfect escape after a long day of exploring. Overall, our time at Highland Resort and Spa was nothing short of wonderful, leaving us with cherished memories and a desire to return in the future.

Great check-in experience with welcome drink/snacks, staff to help move bags from carpark to room. Room hot bath always ready, and package is with kaiseki dinner and buffet breakfast. We are glad to have stayed in Fuji Matsuzono Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 3 and there was a small table with 2 chairs that allowed us to sit around to have some late night snacks and drinks. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. When I approached them at 1am for an additional pillow, they immediately attended to the request. The bath area for the onsen was clean and spacious. The amenities provided were also good quality. There is also a great selection of food during breakfast. Most importantly, room was facing Mt Fuji and we managed to get a nice morning view of Mt Fuji when we woke up. The view was spectaculars and there is a nice courtyard that one can take nice photos with Mt fuji in the background. The hotel is also located in a very convenience location. Once you exit the hotel, you will see Lake Yamanakako and there were many eateries nearby, all within walking distance. As we drove, it was also convenience that Lawson and 7-11 is less than 5 min drive away. Will definitely visit again.

We took the morning flight from Hong Kong to Haneda Airport. After finishing the luggage and entry procedures, we came to the high-speed bus next to the pick-up lobby to buy tickets. It was simple and convenient. It just picked up the first bus and went directly to Kawaguchiko. Before the bus departed, there was still time to have breakfast and wash. Go to the bus stop from the ticket purchase center and follow the next channel. You can also take the elevator or elevator to the underground bus stop according to the instructions. The bus will arrive. When you take the bus, you will see the data board clearly. If there is any error, you will not have to take the bus directly to Kawaguchiko Station. Come to Kawaguchiko, go to the end on the left hand side, see the tourist information, is the waiting station, all hotel buses are here to pick up guests, bus schedules are found on the hotel website; this station does not need to be reserved very convenient. The small bus arrived on time, the driver's service was very good, and he walked through the narrow street for several minutes to reach the hotel. In fact, the hotel is in a good location, near the intersection, and the surrounding bus stop is nearby without turning to Kawaguchiko. Walk along the main road, one end to the center of Shanghai, there are restaurants and supermarkets, the other end to the lake and the pool on the park, you can also see Mount Fuji at different angles, cross the road directly in front of the intersection and go straight to the section of the green line tour bus, walk slowly and reach Baqishan Park, Summer has a scent of lavender, autumn has red leaves, as well as art galleries, garden coffee seats, etc. The parkland is full of green grass like a hilly land, children and hairy children can run up and down, couples and elders sit on long fins to watch the sunset, lake view birds, freehand! Very close to the station and there are restaurants and Lawson nearby. There are both indoor and outdoor onsen (after 9pm or before 9am will have less people) for woman, and if you are tall enough then you will be able to see Fuji mountain when you are enjoying the onsen. Our room is high enough so can see the Fuji mountain directly!

In spite of the popularity of the place name, there are few flatlands in Otsuki City, and there are not many restaurants within walking distance around the station. As a hotel, I would like to expect information on nearby restaurants. (If the hotel prospers, there is a possibility that the surrounding restaurants will also prosper.) One of the newest common facilities is the guest lounge. I'm at a loss as to how to use it in the corona wreck, but I think it's an interesting facility. Isn't smoking indoors outdated these days? ”There were no vacancies, so I had no choice but to reserve a smoking room.” (Since it has just opened, it didn't smell like cigarettes.) Reservations are filled from non-smoking rooms at any hotel. All rooms should be non-smoking and a smoking corner (booth) should be provided. Breakfast (free) is served in the cafeteria on the first floor. I saw a sad sight. Although I didn't use it, a free bus connecting Mishima ⇔ Kawaguchiko Music and Forest Museum ⇔ Otsuki, Mishima ⇔ Fuji-Q Highland ⇔ Otsuki has been operating since April 1, 2022. I think it is convenient for traveling around the Mt. Fuji area. I was annoyed by the small size of the toilet bowl, but overall it is a comfortable hotel at a reasonable price.

Second visit. Mt. Fuji is clear in winter. In the morning, I went to the illumination square in front of the restaurant because it was Akafuji before sunrise. From the right end to red purple, when the sunrise started at about 1 ／ 3, I returned to the magnificent Fuji, but the sunrise on the left, the full moon on the upper right, and Mt. Fuji in the middle. I have to see this. Under the sunrise is the sea of clouds in Lake Yamanaka. The view that there is everything to see. Since there are many families, the rooms are large and you can see Lake Yamanaka and Mt. Fuji from all rooms. The bath is on the 2nd floor with B1 and the mountain trail is clear from the observation bath. You should see people in the season. It is a good hotel that is calm.

The hotel itself is small 々 old, but it is very convenient with hot springs and taverns. It was Mt. Fuji view, so the view was good. However, there are many foreign guests, so I want you to tell me about the manners of the hot spring. I didn't know the manners, and I was poor to say the color 々 from Japanese guests. The explanation was also attached to the dressing room in the room and the hot spring, but I don't see it. I want you to visit if you know the rules when passing the key to the locker, and to those who don't know it, you can give it to a small paper. And please prepare not only English but also Spanish and French. Foreigners want to check the hot spring rules. Let's enjoy the hot springs! Open-air bath, wide and comfortable! Preferably to have a car driven if you can rent or drive if not have to walk quite a long distance if you go on cold weather. Villa was awesome with good service provided and you can really see Mt Fuji view very nicely. They provide delivery and the food quantities and standard were really awesome. They do provide shuttle bus service in the morning and you need to book the timing to different bus terminals around kawaguchiko. Best to travel and stay if you are coming in big groups. Definitely my to stay choice the next time i travel with my friends!
