Hotels near Osaka Museum of Housing and Living in Osaka

This is my second time staying at this hotel. From Kansai Airport, take the Airport Line to Tenkachaya Station (fare 970 yen) and transfer to the Sakaisuji Line to Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome Station (fare 290 yen). At Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome Station When crossing the road from the No. 11 entrance and exit of the station, go to the middle signal light and turn right. There is a hotel 200 meters in front. It is indeed easy to find. Toyoko Inn is a brand in Japan and is the first choice for ordinary travelers. In addition, The red Ferris wheel in the photo I provided is a landmark of Osaka. You can see it in a short walk after turning left after leaving the hotel.

It's a bit of a walk from Umeda Station, but I'm glad it's in an easy to find location! There was a drug store and a convenience store right next door, which was very convenient! The room is clean When I opened the curtains, there was a building in front of me, but it was perfectly fine for staying alone ^_^ Although I didn't use it this time, there seems to be a manga rental corner on the 3rd floor. I am very satisfied because the price was low. I still want to use it

Stayed for 2 nights in a twin room during Autumn. Good size comparing to many other hotels of this rate, enough space to open 2 suitcases at the same time. Love the location, easy to find the hotel from train station, it’s just above Daimaru and many excellent restaurants within 10 mins walk. It’s fabulous to get back to my room for a short break between shopping. Nothing is better than staying directly above the station for train travelers. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

A little out of the way from the large and confusing main stations, but everything was satisfactory and the bath was of a good size Breakfast was good and the drinks offered was nice with freedom to takeout some coffee and bread back to the room UCC capsules and coffee machine in the room was a nice additional touch

Except for the location, everything else about the hotel is perfect. The breakfast buffet on the second floor actually has a lot of varieties, including grapefruit😋 Japanese beef teriyaki tastes great and the beef is very tender Natto is a good review of black beans The Western-style buns are super delicious and there’s also smoked salmon🍣 There was no queue before 8am in mid-October, but there would be a queue after that. Service: Service with a smile, but the girl at the front desk is not very smart. It takes a long time to check in and she will make mistakes. The shuttle bus is on time and boarding is very orderly. Be sure to look for the Sakurabashi Exit of Osaka Station! When you go out in the morning, you will find newspapers on the shelf by the door. The toiletries are from Pola. The comb is very useful and has been taken away.

I was worried from the beginning of the opening, but I didn't have a chance and finally stayed. This time I used it for ２ night with breakfast. The room felt larger than the business hotel I often use. It was good that there was no TV at the desk. The microwave was placed at the desk, but it was small compared to the TV, and there was no waste space because it was a box, and it was convenient if it was in the room, so it was good. The room was cleaned, but there was no particular point that I felt uncomfortable. Although it is a unit bus, there is a part of the wooden panel on the wall, and the unit bus with a lot of impression is quite good impression. The refrigerator is not Perche type, so it's a little loud, but it gets cold firmly. The nightwear was not a yukata. It was good for me because it often ended only in the morning, probably because it was bad sleeping in yukata. The air conditioning was completely individual air conditioning. In addition, an air humidifier was installed in the room where I stayed. Although it is a bath on the 14th floor, the open air is ３, the bubble bath in the indoor bath is ５, the carbonated spring is ２, and there are 4 washrooms. Both the bath and the dressing room were in a beautiful condition. Breakfast, but it was a very normal breakfast with side dishes that are common in business hotels. There is a cleaning condition of the room, the size of the room, and the bath unexpectedly of the unit bath, and considering this price, the evaluation seems to be good.

This is my 2nd time staying in this hotel this year. I was pretty disappointed with the stay this time. I have booked 3 rooms for a family of 6. Room 1-3: Rooms was very hot despite AC turned on. Room 2: Sink was choked and shower room was reeked with bad smell. Room 3: Room was stinky. I was aware that the hotel rooms were fully booked hence we just bear with the condition since we will be out most of the time hence did not request for changing of rooms. I understood from the front desk staff that our rooms are eco-plan rooms and there will not be a daily housekeeping which was fine, except clean towels and water will be provided each day throughout our stay. However there were 2 days we were not given complimentary water. Nonetheless, this hotel has a very strategic location with transport, shopping and airport transfer in one place that attracts people to stay. I hope the hotel can do some refurbishment to the rooms if there’s an opportunity.

Fantastic location - 20 minutes walk south to Shinsaibashi with all the amazing food and little shops. 20 minutes walk north to Umeda with more ‘proper’ restaurants. Service was great - housekeeping and reception desk were fantastic and polite, really helpful with just everything, be it luggage, calling a restaurant to check availability or heating up food from the markets. Room was clean, no issues with anything. Heads-up: bring a power board if there’s more than one traveler due to lack of power outlets in the room - only had one easily accessible.

Suitable for traveling alone, you can experience the capsule cabin, but you can hear the snoring next to you, so be careful before entering. There is a large bathhouse, where there are many office workers. There are also foreign backpackers who miss the subway after drinking at night. There are vending machines in the store, with coffee, drinks, and ice cream. There are also set meals, which are not expensive. But it's not as good as the ones outside, and I'm still quite hungry. Not suitable for consecutive stays. You need to check out at 10 o'clock every day and check in at 15 o'clock in the afternoon. They clean in between

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed given the reasonable price. Location is wonderful. A mere five minute walk from the Umeda ＜-＞ Kansai airport limousine terminal, surrounded by drug and beauty stores, electronics stores, Pokemon centre, Rilakumma (san-x) store, Disney store, all within 15 mins walking distance. Room is very well-maintained. Clean, I mean shiny clean every corner. I pay a lot of attention to the bathroom, mirror and the tub as it tells a lot about the hosuekeeping. This housekeeping here is excellent. It’s literally dustless even around the corner of the tables and the shelves in the bathroom. And as you can see, we even have an air purifier inside the room and it is very assuring. I left a request asking for slippers and toothbrush/toothpaste for kids and they were already in the room when I check-in. Though it was a Twins room that I booked, they attended to the details and prepared extra towels in the bathroom without me asking as they know we’re actually staying with 2 adults and 2 kids. Other amenities were self-served in the lobby, I grabbed what I needed and it was pretty rare that hotels offer individually packed hair wax which impressed me tremendously. Will Definitely choose this hotel again and I highly recommend it to others who are staying in Umeda Osaka. P.S. I didn’t have time to try to buffet breakfast but the small cafe at the lobby is great too.
