The room is clean and we like the design (with Japanese style window). We enjoy the breakfast very much. The hotel is next to the big train station, so it is convenient to get subway / trains and some shopping.

The swimming pool is good, suitable for business trips, the high-altitude scenery is good, but the service is not very enthusiastic, the location is also OK, close to the city center, and there are not many parent-child projects

Room: There is no doubt that the hardware is the best in Osaka. The ordinary room starts from 50 square meters, and the suite of 75 square meters is already perfect. The mini bar is full of drinks and is replenished every day. In addition to the bed, the 75-square-meter suite I stayed in has a tatami bed in the bay window, a sofa with a chaise longue in the living room, a reclining chair next to the bed, and a large sofa on the balcony, so you can lie down anywhere. The hotel has everything, including a swimming pool, spa, restaurant and bar. Landscape: The landscape room faces Osaka Castle Park and is the best viewing spot for Osaka Castle. If this view is compared with Tokyo, it can be sold for 5k alone. Service: The concierge is outside the building on the first floor. The setting is very unique and very user-friendly. The service is provided at the first time. The reception is on the 20th floor, which is also a bar, and the service is in place. Wellness is the feature of the hotel. The project generally costs more than 30,000 yen for more than an hour, which is worth the money. Dining: The breakfast is semi-buffet, the quality is very high, and the selection is sufficient. The taste is excellent, better than Four Seasons. The bar on the 20th floor charges a reasonable fee and the view is excellent. I didn't try the teppanyaki and the western restaurant on the first floor. The western restaurant was very crowded. I hope to try it next time. Transportation: The location is actually quite good. It takes 10-20 minutes to get to Umeda, Tennoji, Shinsaibashi, and Nanba by taxi. The subway is a little far away. If the weather is a little bad, it is not suitable to walk to the subway station. Easter egg: The hydrangeas in Osaka Castle Park in June are right opposite the hotel, which is absolutely beautiful.

Swissotel Nankai Osaka is a great accommodation choice in Osaka. Its location is in the very center of the city. There are many tax-free and luxurious goods shops nearby. Also plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars. Dotonbori street is five-minute-walk away, Tsutenkaku tower around 15 minutes. Hotel staff was up to their task, always polite and helpful; breakfast quite good. I would prefer more amenities in the room. My room was on the 31st floor, and view was amazing.

It was a hotel I booked after cancellation after receiving such unpleasant reception from OyadoRAKU that I had previously booked! Their heartfelt sympathy and touching led me to book another trip to Japan lol. Room condition and customer understanding are all high, and above all, it is the best location! I will stay at this hotel if I go to Osaka! (I have traveled with my mom and eyes for 5 people, so my recommendation is very reliable!!)

It was a good hotel and clean but no any facilities if you want to use swimming pool bath like you have to pay a lot of money. I stayed this hotel cuz there is swimming pool for kids but we couldn’t use. We also stayed another hope it was really cheaper than here but we used Japan style bath spa without any charge so for this one i disappointed ☹️

As for my first time visit Japan (Osaka) i felt like i’ve made a good decision to stay here for 5 nights straight. Located in the heart of city Namba which is just walking distance like within 3-5mins to Dotonbori & Shinsaibashi area. And also near access to Metro, JR, Kintetsu & Nankai line. Lawson and 7e just right and left hotel so not to worry if hungry at the night out of sudden, plus easy to get halal food as well as Muqam Restaurant just next to 7e. This hotel is self-checkin/checkout hotel and the system very easy to use plus their receptionist very friendly and helpful. No regrets and would recommend to my family & friends and sure will be back again.

Great that there is shuttle bus at 30min interval to Osaka station given the hotel is a bit of a walk there; would be even better if the shuttle bus schedule can be extended past the current 630/640pm since I presume most tourists would be out exploring Osaka and having dinner. Would be great if there is power socket at both sides of the bed to charge phones. TV was really old school. Carpet looks old. Service was top notch. Spacious room and very spacious sink area, which is rare for Japan hotels it seems. Pleasantly surprised that there’s speaker in the toilet linked to the TV so we were able to play relaxing music to wind down while washing up.

DDollyDollyLove this hotel and will come back again! Spectacular view for our room located on 49/F, facing the bay side. Huge room with 3 beds. Most spacious room on the highest floor ever stayed in Japan. Very reasonable price except for the breakfast which comes with quite stiff price. We tried breakfast on both 2/f and 51/f and the latter was way better in terms of spread and quality of food. Love the basement parking, the lift will take you from carpark directly to your guest room floor. Best for those traveling with a car!!! Exit by credit card payment at gate. Charge on each exit. No need any help from hotel staff which is so so so good! Very crowded with the lifts when there is conference or event within the hotel. Overall, very happy with our stay there. Thank you for everything.

AAnonymous UserI stayed at the Dormy Inn in Osaka for just one night, and for only $52, it was an absolute gem! This budget-friendly hotel exceeded all expectations, offering so many thoughtful amenities that it felt like a luxury stay. The highlights included free ramen and ice cream at night—a unique and delightful touch—and the provision of pajamas and slippers for added comfort. The free washer and inexpensive dryer (just 100 yen for 20 minutes) were incredibly convenient, especially for travelers packing light. The public hot bath was another standout feature, providing a relaxing way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The room itself was fantastic. The bed was super comfortable, and the blackout blinds ensured a perfect night’s sleep. I also loved that the bed was accessible from three sides—a rare design in Japan that made the room feel surprisingly spacious. One particularly convenient feature was the self-check-in kiosk, which made the check-in and check-out process quick and easy, especially for international visitors who may not speak Japanese. Additionally, the 11 a.m. checkout time is relatively late for Japan, giving guests a more relaxed start to their day. Location-wise, the hotel is about a 6-minute walk to the subway and a 20-30 minute stroll to Osaka Castle. While there aren’t many activities immediately nearby, the hotel’s convenience and outstanding amenities more than compensate for this. For a budget-friendly option, Dormy Inn checks all the boxes and then some. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka. Truly a perfect stay!

GGuest UserSuperb location, the only other hotel I want to try in the area would be Park Front, given it is really at park front. Wide dining selections in the adjacent malls. Good customer service, we were greet by the Korean young man (Joohan was his name I think), who speaks very good English and was very helpful to arrange our left luggage to be brought into our room when ready. Love to come back, if their female onsen can really be restricted to female only... Have seen different mothers of unassociated families, bringing their non-toddlers boys into the ladies onsen... This really makes me felt awkward and really embarrassed.. , especially more these boys keeps looking at females in the lockers, shower, onsen area. Not sure why their mothers didn't noticed or care to tell them off.. Sigh!

GGuest UserThe room is spacious by Japan standards and well-equipped with essentials like a hairdryer, electric kettle, air purifier/humidifier, air-conditioning, and basic amenities. If you opt for daily housekeeping, they’ll replenish items such as shampoo, conditioner, body soap, combs, toothbrushes, razors, cotton buds, and body sponges. Towels are changed and trash is cleared daily as well. The only downside is the lack of complimentary drinking or hot water, even at the lobby—so you’ll have to boil water using the kettle provided in the room, which can be a bit inconvenient. Location-wise, it’s excellent—just a short walk from the train station, with a Don Quijote and FamilyMart nearby. There’s also a Daiso downstairs, along with plenty of restaurants and a game arcade. The complimentary breakfast buffet is a highlight, offering a wide variety. It’s not extravagant but includes both Japanese and Western dishes such as curry rice, udon, pickles, grilled salmon, takoyaki, cold tofu, salads, warabimochi, sausages, chicken rings, fried chicken, cereals, milk, bread rolls with spreads, soft serve ice cream, DIY waffles, fruits, and beverages like coffee, tea, juice, and soft drinks.

ААндрей Сеунгфилович АлександровThere are all sauna restaurants at reasonable prices, and most of all, there are Dotonbori restaurants right next to it, making it the best private accommodation. It's a little uncomfortable if the person who talks in his sleep is in the capsule next to him. But I will choose this place if I come back to Osaka.

MMrYou can’t beat this kind of place. Cheap and cheerful. One cheerful guy at front desk for sure is Ryo Sakamoto. Every time I went to the front desk, he would smile more. It seems like all guests make him smile.

KKyriI stayed here to participate in an event at Intex Osaka. I think it's better to think of this hotel as a training facility or simple accommodation rather than a general hotel. About check-in There is a long wait time for late night check-ins because only one staff member is handling them. I had sent my luggage to the hotel in advance, but the staff did not inform me at check-in, so after going to my room, I had to go back to the front desk to check. After waiting in line for quite a while, I asked about my luggage and was told that it had not arrived, which was a bit of a problem, but they eventually found it. Since I had told them that I would be sending my luggage when I made the reservation, I wish they had handled it a little more smoothly. However, considering the low price and the fact that only one staff member was handling the situation, I thought that it was somewhat unavoidable. About the large public bath I stayed here because I was attracted by the fact that there was a large public bath, but the changing room was small and it was very noisy because it was often used by students staying at the hotel. There were four hairdryers installed at the sink, but one was broken and a student had been using it for a long time (about 20-30 minutes because it was in use the whole time I was taking a bath?), so it took a while for me to get a turn. Also, the open-air bath was very lukewarm, probably because it was after 11:00 p.m., and it was difficult to get in due to the cold wave. The indoor baths were at a comfortable temperature, but both were only large enough for 5-6 people, so it was difficult to stretch your legs when it was crowded. Since it was a circulating bath rather than a hot spring, I washed my body again after bathing. About the rooms I forgot to take a photo of the room, but it was relatively new, and although it was small, it seemed clean. The unit bath was spacious and comfortable, but if two people stayed in a double bed room, the passage was so narrow that it was difficult for one person to go to the toilet if the other person was using the desk. Overall review I mentioned some harsh points, but as I mentioned at the beginning, for this location and service at this price, it is well worth it. I would definitely use it again if I have the opportunity.
