We enjoy our 3-night stay here. Umeda is transport hub and we took super fast train from Kyoto (just 45 mins) and the station exit is close to this hotel. The 5-star hotel is tall, very clean, elegantly decorated and spacious. Room inside is excellent in every aspect. We had a wonderful and open views overlooking the city and the big wheel. There're several restaurants or otherwise many dining choices in the neighborhood. We tried the lunch all-you-can-eat which is nice. Staff ok, English not very good though. The hotel is so kind and generous for giving me a small bunch of flowers on my birthday 💐 Price is unexpectedly good too, about USD205 per night for our triple room and our stay is during the Easter holidays! Overall, recommended with hesitation.

The hotel is located RIGHT ABOVE Shin-Osaka station. Location is very convenient since we travelled with Shinkansen almost everyday. Room is quite small and the only windows are in the bathroom. But everything is clean, no weird smell nor noise. Will definitely book again.

The hotel is located just right beside the Shin Osaka station. Walk towards the central exit and you will see the north exit which is where the McDonalds is. The hotel is right beside that particular exit. Room is pretty big with Marriott standard of housekeeping. However the staff at the reception aren’t too friendly especially when enquiries are made at night. No express train rides to Kansai airport unlike from Umeda/Namba, so we paid $30SGD per pax extra to head to the airport. Great stay nevertheless. Thanks!

I often come to Osaka, but this is my first use of Viain. I didn't know it was the JR West Group. Hotels with railway companies have a sense of security. The night before, I was asked to roll the trunk and leave it before check-in after check-out at the nearby Shin Osaka Washington Hotel Plaza. I think it is a hotel that is a 3-minute walk from the front exit of JR Shin-Osaka Station and is very close to the Shinkansen. The surprising good thing is that you can reach the ticket gate of the Midosuji Subway Line in less than a minute. (It is Exit 7, which is the ”back door” that is not the contact point to JR near Umeda / Tennoji near Shin-Osaka Subway Station. (There is an up escalator and the down stairs) There is a convenience store on the 1st floor, which is also convenient. You can go to the front desk on the second floor by elevator. Amenity is a method of taking the attached items at the front desk and taking them with you. However, shaving is not free. (100 yen) I would like you to write this on the homepage as well. The room had a table and a sofa like a bench in the center, and I thought it was a relaxing design. (When I thought I saw this arrangement somewhere, the ”Sapporo Washington Hotel Plaza” I stayed in November 2022 had a similar structure.) The slightly stiff bed is rather comfortable for me. The TV is as large as 40 inches. Shampoo and toiletries were a bit nice. I think it's a hotel where you can't find any drawbacks like this. (However, there is a breakfast restaurant in the building. No. ) The subway (running on the ground) and the highway were right in front of the room, but I didn't feel much noise because the sound insulation was good. The room (605) on the 6th floor where I stayed was a train view room. I saw the JR conventional line connecting the Shinkansen, the subway and the garage. The choice of hotel to stay in Osaka has increased. It is a hotel that I want to stay again.

This hotel is situated directly across from the station, and it is an easy five minute walk. The staff was friendly however, the rooms are very outdated. The room was smaller than the typical Japanese rooms that we’ve been staying at. The beds weren’t comfortable at all. The lobby and area is updated and the rooms also need some care. We did take a walk in the evening, but there really wasn’t much entertainment or anything to do around that area. You definitely need to go into the station to enjoy anything. We chose this hotel because I had stayed here about seven years ago with my son. The experiences were completely different. I probably wouldn’t choose it again, but in a pinch it would do for a business person perhaps spending the night and leaving not a leisurely trip where you want to have a look at scenery in the area.

It is a good hotel, and near the Rail way train. However, should have some direction sign outside the exit of the underpass or railway exit. The hotel room is good and clean with awesome breakfast and service. But the aircon is not auto on after inserting the card. And it is warm during this winter season. There are almost no amenities in the room. Even the pot is the first time the hotel is called front lending. Moreover, there is no cup. There is no tea pack. You can only use the hot water of cup ramen to boil. That's why it may be a front desk lending. On the other hand, the humidifier is standard equipment. This was good. Toothbrushes and razors are also received at the front desk only for those who need them. I always liked the 々 hotel disposable amenities because I didn't like too much. I was carrying a toothbrush from now on, so there was no inconvenience. The room is clean and functional. There were several complaints about the lack of this, but it was a company effort to realize this price near Shin Osaka station. If you expect excessive service, I think it is a good idea to spend it.

Shortcut the alley between the buildings from the east exit and arrived in about 2 minutes. If you're not careful, you might miss it. Although it is an old hotel, it has been renewed and you can feel the commitment to comfortable facilities such as Mirable shower heads, beds, and chairs. There was also a comfortable sleep room with an upgraded Mirable bathtub and bed. The room is a reasonable size and you won't feel oppressed. It's close to the station and has a reasonable price, so you can use it for sightseeing or staying the night before an early morning flight.

The room was small but it was a comfortable stay for an individual. The proximity of the hotel from Shin-Osaka station is a big advantage. Room amenities are good. Breakfast is decent with japanese style cuisine. Staff cannot converse or understand English, hence it is very difficult to check for something with the help desk on the phone. I had booked a stay for two nights. The air conditioning was off for the entire second night. When the room got suffocating, I checked with the help desk. It is when they informed me that the air con has malfunctioned and will be available at 12 pm. They asked me to open the window for air. This was not an option as it's too noisy outside due to the proximity of the hotel from the train station and airport, and also there are no screens to the window to block bugs. The air con was available the next day at 9:30 when I was ready to check out.

The shower place n spa very nice. Excellent bookshelves! Good self-help kitchen and wifi service. But NO toilets NO tv NO water jars in bedrooms! A bit inconvenient for family travellers. Extra rental fees for shower towels🥴 (good for environmental concern)

It is for businessmen, but the use of tourists and foreigners was also conspicuous because of the good price and word of mouth. In fact, it was used at work, but it was enough for 1 night ２ days and there was no problem for 2 nights and 3 days. However, if you stay any more, you may feel pressure. The Hotel is near Shin Osaka Station, 5 - 10 minutes walk. Please use the Central Exit and just walk across parking lot and you will see a flyover and pedestrian under the flyover. Go ahead through the pedestrian and turn right, you will see a tunnel (about 150m). Walk toward the tunnel and the Hotel will be around 100m after the tunnel on your left side (There are 2 tunnels around the parking lot, please use the small one which you can access via pedestrian under the flyover). The room was big enough for us (2 adults and 1 kid - 10 yo) and 1 luggage. The only minor thing is they don't provide a wardrobe. They only provide very small space for you to hang your jacket near the door. Our room is facing the train tracks and still can hear the trains passing the building, not disturbing though but we don't know for sure why it was not disturbing because our room was on high floor (14th fl) or the sound proofing works well. The staff were very nice, helpful and polite. I think it is better if the staff can improve their English for easier communication with non Japanese speaking guests. There are many restaurants around the Hotel but you need to walk 5 - 10 minutes or you can just go to the Station as plenty of eateries there as well.

The hotel is not far from Shin-Osaka Station. It is easier to get there by using Google Maps. There is a connected mini convenience store downstairs of the hotel for convenient restocking of supplies and food. There is a self-service daily necessities area next to the hotel elevator, where travelers can pick up what they need (face wash, makeup remover, toner, facial cream, etc.), which is very convenient and considerate. The room is so small that there is no space to open the suitcase (points deducted). The cleanliness is good.
