Hotel Sunlife

It's a hotel I booked for one night in a hurry, but the location is good. I couldn't sleep at the hotel I booked for two nights, so I checked in here right away. I washed up and went to bed right away. The room was warm, and although the room was small, the facilities seemed to have been remodeled. They're still up-to-date. If you book near Namba, you can walk or take the subway a few stops away, and everything is nearby. They even let me in for a few dozen minutes for check-in. But I insisted on LiveMax, so there was no microwave in the room. ㅋㅋㅋ It's really important, but since it was a holiday, all the stores were closed, so I spent a lot of time at the hotel. I'm satisfied.

It was very close to the station, so I was glad that I didn't get wet in the rain. There are few restaurants in the area, so I think it's better to eat somewhere before heading to the nearest station to the hotel. The front desk was not very friendly. It was very bureaucratic. The building is old, and they temporarily fixed broken items such as the toilet paper holder. Anyway, the breakfast was terrible. It can't be called a buffet. It was not as colorful as in the photo, and the main dishes were stewed dishes with similar seasonings. Everything was too salty and the vegetables were limp. The curry had no toppings. *Sandwiches seem to be famous, but they were just normal. There was no grilled fish. *Not grilled, just boiled*. The yogurt was a commercially available triple pack. The only rice accompaniments were pickled plums and natto, and there was no seaweed. The juice was apple juice in a carton 😢. Coffee, barley tea, and water, I guess. The only bread they had was sandwiches. The salad was something like lettuce and cucumber mixed with salted kelp. There was no corn or tomato. Also, breakfast was served at the restaurant attached to the hotel, but the inside of the restaurant was not tidy either, which was disappointing. There are no restaurants nearby that serve breakfast, so if you are in trouble without breakfast, it is better to order it, but... I do not recommend it. I think the ones at convenience stores are tastier. I don't think I will be returning.

The hotel is right next to the Osaka Consulate. It was the first time I saw police on duty 24 hours a day at every intersection in Japan. The hotel is a little old and still uses keys, but the professionalism of the front desk surprised me. I left my keys at the front desk when I went out, and when I came back, they could remember exactly which room I was staying in.

Facilities: The hotel facilities are old. The bed board at the head of the bed is directly standing up, and it will fall back when you lean on it. The lobby is retro and clean. Hygiene: Generally speaking, the sanitation is clean. The room has been smoke-free but still has the smell of tobacco. When checking in, I asked for a room not facing the street, and I was arranged to 807. This room is indeed not facing the street, but there is always a smell from the toilet. I called around 11 o'clock the next day to ask if I need cleaning, which is very considerate. Environment: The sound insulation is average. The sound of the elevator in 807 is very clear, even if it is not on the side of the elevator. The partition wall is made of wood. I don’t know what machine is running. It is very loud next door all night. Service: I want to say this in particular. The hotel uses a key to open the door. You must return the key to the front desk when you leave the hotel. The service on the first day was good. On the second day, I came back and met a Japanese man with a serious expression. When I said good night and I came back to get the key, he was busy in front of the computer without raising his eyes. He gestured a traffic police pause and asked me to wait. Then he was busy on the computer for a long time. As a result, another person next to him came out of the room and gave me the key. You are a hotel front desk. You don’t respond to guests in the first time and signal guests to wait for you to handle work. Are you used to being a leader? Except for this one accident, other service staff are polite and professional. You can’t generalize, but it does feel very average. People who have high requirements for rooms should check in carefully. In addition, the price of this hotel in Kansai Expo has increased in a mess. The price increase has calculated a lot of weird hotels, which feels very bad.
