Cleanliness: don’t expect much, it’s an old hotel and the place looks clean enough until you look closely and you will notice mold and dust. But linens were always clean and towels were replaced even when you’re out for the day.
Location: easy access to the subway, with convenience stores and underground retail shops nearby, and a quick walk to the Shinsaibashisuji area.
Service: their best trait. Quick, efficient, friendly, excellent. You’ll just have to go to the front desk for most help since there is no phone in the room.
Amenities: hotel wifi kept disconnecting during our weeklong stay and was barely useable. TV only has local channels. Limited toiletries on offer compared to hotels in adjacent areas and with similar room size. You can hear other people in the corridors and in their rooms. Restaurant is closed.
