The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Osaka Midosuji

Handy located near metro in good area. Rooms are clean but slightly old fashioned in room design. The rooms are on the smaller size but the bed is comfortabel. As often in Japan the hotel provides a pyjama not sure why. Service is good and price was reasonable

A nice hotel in a reasonable location. The rooms are on the small side but are very clean and comfortable. It’s relatively new and seems to be in very good condition. The airconditioning works well and this is a must in the hot humid months of summer. It’s disappointing that they showed zero flexibility to extend checkout from 11.00 am; not even for half an hour. The staff overall are polite, and house keeping do a very good job. There is a nearby subway station, and the area has a few restaurants and cafes. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel. Thank you.

Lovely experience, the environment was clean, and the lounge access allowed us to enjoy complimentary refreshments and cocktails in the evening :) The hotel is ~7 mins walking distance from the Yodoyabashi station (Midosuji line), exit 13 (equipped with elevator access), convenient for travellers with huge baggage to get around easily.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was quite disappointed with the experience. First and foremost, the breakfast service was absolutely dreadful. There were far too many people, making it feel crowded and chaotic. The food was mostly unappetizing, and popular items ran out quickly. A specific issue was the misleading labels; when they substituted salmon for an unappetizing white fish, they failed to update the signage. On the last day of my stay, I was unable to use the breakfast service due to a flight change. Despite my repeated requests for an alternative, the hotel did not provide any substitute for the missed breakfast. The only concession they offered was to give me two bottles of water for the road. In our room, the window could not be opened, making the atmosphere quite stuffy. We had to keep the air conditioning running constantly to make it bearable. Additionally, the furniture in the room seemed outdated and in need of renovation. We even found a hairpin on the floor left behind by previous guests, which indicates a lack of proper cleaning. Service was lacking as well. We were not offered any assistance with our luggage to the room, which was inconvenient. Moreover, the coffee cups provided were extremely small, making them unsuitable for brewing drip coffee packets. Overall, this hotel does not meet the standards of a five-star establishment.
