Our stay was amazing! The check in process was so easy and the building were easy to locate. Right in between 2 train lines which makes getting into the city easy.
Communication was amazing, such quick email replies!
The apartment was so clean and spacious enough for 4 adults and luggage. Beds were so comfy!
Clear instructions were provided on how to use amenities.
10/10 would stay here again!

Near supermarket and 5 mins walk to subway. Amenities includes washing machine, kitchen and microwave. Big enough and spacious for solo travellers or couple. No house keeping service provided.

We had a pleasant stay here. The room i comfortable and clean. They provided everything including detergent wash. Very convenient for us. Really recommend this place to stay.

My family of three adults recently stayed at 川 House for five nights, drawn by the offer of two double beds in one room. Nevertheless, unlike the experience described in previous reviews, my own experience there fell short of expectation.
The property itself is new, and its location is convenient, laying in the middle of two train stations. But the neighbourhood is very quiet in the evenings. The proximity to the train rails—just 30 meters away—means that rooms on that side of the building are rather noisy.
The amenities at 川 House are virtually non-existent. Aside from a small seating sofa area at the entrance, there are no common spaces, no reception desk, no dining facilities, and certainly no gym or swimming pool. This lack of amenities was particularly inconvenient when my son needed to make a private phone call and had to resort to the small corridor for privacy.
What I found truly disappointing was the complete absence of basic housekeeping services. For four days, our room went without cleaning; towels remained unchanged, the toilet and floors were not cleaned, and trash accumulated. It was only after I raised the issue on the fourth day that any attention was given. The in-room trash bin was woefully inadequate for three adults, even for just one night of stay.
In a pre-arrival email, I noticed that while it didn't mention room cleaning services, it did reference a garbage bin on the ground floor for guests' use—a detail that hardly justifies the lack of in-room waste management during a stay.
Additionally, guests should be aware that the checkout time is at 10 am. Although the property description mentions luggage storage, this is simply an unsecured, unattended space near the hotel's entrance. I was informed that a locker adjacent to this area was available; however, it measured only about 30cm in height, rendering it useless for storing luggage.
For travelers who are not perturbed by the issues I've outlined, 川 House may still be an option to consider. But for those who value their comfort and convenience, I'd recommend paying a bit extra for accommodations that offer on-site staff, basic amenities, and regular cleaning services, even if it means staying in a livelier area.

Good location, clean and tidy, spacious rooms! Metro station, restaurants and supermarket nearby, definitely will choose to stay here again if I visit Osaka in the future:)

The location is good as it is easy to find and closes to metro station and AirPort Express line too. The room is as same as the pics shown on the web, provide basic appliances and toiletries. It provide a safe and comfortable place during the trip, thank you~

Good location near train station, supermarket and convinience store. The downside is check-in instructions are not so clear and for some reason the QR code at front door does not work, but luckily, we received help from a gentleman. We also cannot find the accomodation address stated on the trip.com using google map so a bit hard to find the location for the first time. Photo is the correct location we found.

The neighbour is very quiet just the problem of busy and noisy trains. Requested for a room not facing the train but was still given a room closest to the train. Spacious family room with spaces for luggages and sleep

Was worried as a first time using self service accomondation but with 川House, all my worrying gone. They replied patiently on my enquiries and silly questions, thanks to accommodate us on our stay.
Room facilities are as stated and clean, and location is quite convenience to reach in between the sight seeing points.
Will come back again.

I didn't notice that I accidentally dropped my favorite hat in the hostel lobby until I got on the JR line 15 minutes later. I quickly reported the case to Trip.com on the same day and said I would return to the hostel if they find it. Trip.com took an immediate action to ask the hostel. Surprisingly, the hostel only replied to me one day later via Trip.com without finding anything. Such response was totally unreasonable and unacceptable if the hostel has the legal responsibility to make prompt responses. We are not secured to live in such a hostel. In hotels, no such incidence would happen as some staff members will find the hat immediately.

1. No information about where to dump trash. I only saw it when I checked out.
2. Everything is DIY. No one will replace your towels and sheets.
3. I received the instruction on how to store my luggage after I did so. And they contacted me because they couldn't find my room key which I brough with me so that I could enter the hotel again to retrieve my luggage.
4. The hotel faces the railway directly. And the trains are running non-stop till mid night.

Overall 7.5 out of 10. We stayed for 2 nights in Osaka and It is very clean and spacious. It is also close to the 2 railway stations, which one is 5 mins (Tengachaya station) and the other one is 10 mins walk (Hanazonocho station). Very accessible which has both Airport Express and Limited Express (Rapid) that directly to the airport.
There are convenience stores, supermarkets, cafes and foodies nearby. So it's very convenient neighbourhood.
I could have missed out the check-in process, which would be great if reminder email send prior check-in. However, it doesn't take us too much of issue, most importantly the staff was helpful and humble, they helped us through the check-in process.
Our room very comfy, spacious, bright and clean. We love it much with the bolcany, that allowed us to air-dry our clothes and towels.
There isn't any house keeping service provided, hence, it would be great if Chuanhouse could provide some amenities such as broom and cleaning clothes.
Nevertheless, I will definitely recommend it to my friends and families who coming to Osaka.

this was a great place to live, and they were very quick to respond to emails. i highly recommend emailing them in advance (with relevant details) for check-in instructions. they were very accommodating to my needs and even offered extra help when i needed it. one potential downside (it was a bonus for me personally) was that the rooms were right beside the railway tracks, so a lot of trains passed by. i highly recommend this place to families. for solo travellers though, i would point out that this area place has quite a desolate feel to it. roads are not very well lit at night, though it is in a residential area.

In addition, the Starry Wilderness Resort has opened up to the Nishicheng District, and the environment here has been greatly improved. There are also street lights on the way from the subway station to the apartment, please don't worry about the safety of the environment. After closing the doors and windows normally, you won't hear too much noise, and generally it won't affect normal rest. If you need it, we will also provide you with free earplugs. as it is a apartment, and we are going in feb(winter in japan). the room is very warm with the ac heater but the toilet and bathroom is cold. Just have to keep in mind if you are bringing younger kids
otherwise is a great place to stay
