The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of town and close proximity to two bus stops. The outdoor area is beautiful, and the swimming pools were an added bonus after a day of hiking. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. Will visit again!

This hotel is well located. It is right in the centre of ortisei, close to several cable car stations. It is clean and quiet. Breakfast is good. The single room is fairly small but has everything you need. I think it is a great value of the money.

Angelo Engel was a magical hotel. We had the best week of our travel here. From the hotel staff at check in to the incredible breakfast, every detail was perfect. But the best of all was Nicola, the Bartender, who made us laugh and served us the best cocktails each night. There is also fantastic live music on Wednesdays — Alberto is simply the best. We danced around the hotel bar and made everlasting memories. The room was spacious, comfortable, and luxurious. We enjoyed our own private balcony overlooking the pool and never wanted to leave. Simply amazing!

We had a fantastic stay for 1 week at Hotel Angelo Engel. The room was great, the location very centrally - both for hiking in the mountains and dinner in the evenings. We also enjoyed the outstanding garden with swimming pool and drinks in the evenings. The staff in the reception and bar, was always very friendly and helpful.

Charming hotel near center of town and close to gondolas. Everything was in walking distance. Loved the indoor/outdoor pool with lawn, the bar and lounge and the friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. The junior suite was a bit small for 3 people but had a nice balcony with view. Would definitely stay there again but prices during high season were very high.

Previously booked a Villa and later upgraded to the hotel. It's our second trip to Dolomiti, but first time to stay with hotel Angelo Engel. Great location by city center. As part of promotion, the hotel gives a free pass for bus and train for 10 days in Ortisei. High quality breakfast, room is clean.

Wonderful experience. Greatly managed hotel with helpful and highly professional staff. Structure and elegant environment. Nice selection and good quality for an international breakfast. Homemade cakes, refined local and international products... and staff ready to satisfy every desire of customers. Rooms recently renovated and fully equipped for every need. Congratulations.

We had a very memorable time at the hotel and would love to come back for some skiing! We traveled with our teenage kids who enjoyed the hotel amenities. The staff were so kind especially Linda and Jennifer. They greeted us each day for breakfast and dinner with big smiles and warm greetings. The food was incredible. We were pleasantly surprised when one of the owners took time to welcome us and introduce themselves. Our only complaint was that the size of room was a little small for five people but we made it work.

This family run hotel pulls out all the stops to make you feel like a valued and important guest. We have never stayed anywhere like this, where the staff is so friendly yet professional and where every detail of how the hotel is run and been set-up has been considered carefully so that you can enjoy a thoroughly relaxing holiday. Need I say the breakfasts, afternoon snack and dinners are just wonderful?
