The hotel is located on the hillside of the small town of Ortisei, opposite the cable car of the Upper Hughes Plateau. The scenery is very good. What you can see from the room is the peaks on the Hughes Plateau, and in the evening you can see the golden mountains illuminated by sunshine. The hotel has a parking lot with free parking, but there is no elevator. It's a bit tiring to drag the suitcase up to the 2 floors. However, the hotel has a rich breakfast, a buffet for dinner, priced at 32 yuan per person, and free self-service wine. The hotel rooms are fully equipped and hygienic, and the front desk staff is friendly. You will be given a tour guide including a map when you check in. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the cable car station, so you can park your car at the hotel and walk there (parking at the cable car station is a bit expensive).

Really friendly staff and a charming little hotel . The Tyrol evening was fun with great local foodAmazing views of the Dolomites ️. A 10 min walk into town or little ski bus to get to the lift was the only downside ♀️ - fab skiing ⛷️ once up the mountains though!

Clean and good food. Single Room quite dated and ridiculously small. You can barely stand in the shower safely, tiniest I’ve ever had. Not worth the money tbh. Better invest a little more and have more comfort. Room is in the annex. Plus: Ski bus stops in front of hotel. 15min to Seceda. 15min walking to the town centre. Staff very friendly though

This hotel is one of the best experiences! We have stayed there twice and look forward to more visits! The staff feel like family; the hotel vibes vintage boutique; and the overall atmosphere is delightful. The views are amazing! We especially loved our balcony, but sitting in the garden with similar views was refreshing as well. The hotel is very clean and has a quirky charm. We found breakfast very plentiful and a great way to start our mountain hikes. There are 3 lifts/gondolas nearby, and we have enjoyed at least 5 different hikes. The bus pass will take you anywhere, even to Bozen. We haven’t had a car and it hasn’t been a problem, but the hotel does have plenty of parking. In all, Hotel Emilia is a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend staying with them when in Ortisei!

The staff are absolutely lovely however this is a notch above a hostel. The rooms are dormitory style with a tiny bed and desk. If you are lucky you will get a closet and some drawers. The bathroom is outdated and moldy. We traveled here with The World Tour.org... stay far away from this tour company. The World Tour.org is an awful tour operator run by an awful man named Donald. I don't know why anyone would repeat travel with him unless they were a glutin for punishment. He lead us astray telling us the hotel was quirky... LOL We had to share hair dryers The staff is great, but know what you are getting if you stay here.
