Hotels Near Marks and Spencer in Orpington

Despite not being disabled ourselves, we were given a disabled room which had obviously just been refurbished. The room was excellent, spacious and well appointed. We've never slept in such a large bed - it was wider than it was long!

Good stay, food was nice, stay were friendly, spa was good, would stay again

Went to celebrate our anniversary and was a lovely getaway!! Mentioned that it was our anniversary before checking in and was so surprised at the beautiful swan towels and petals on the bed as some places normally brush past these kind of things! Lovely clean and modern bathroom with a stunning led light mirror - rooms were cosy and comfy, it was perfect for a night away. Staff were great all round, helpful and welcoming from the moment we walked in at reception and in the restaurant for our evening meal. I had the tikka masala with the loveliest mango chutney I've had! My partner had the butler's steak which he would highly recommend. All in all a really excellent stay, can't fault it at all! Would love to keep for myself but that would be selfish for the others that haven't stayed!

Nearly all the elements I expect from a hotel were absolutely fine. Special mention for the very friendly and helpful staff. Also an evening meal in the bar was excellent and very fairly priced. The only problem that I mentioned to reception was that the wi-fi signal in my room was weak and a bit hit and miss. It was adequate for a couple of emails, but if I was staying again and had work to do, I would like to be reassured about the wi-fi in my allocated room.

Another one night stop over at this rather worn out looking Campanile which still had modem connections: yikes. That said, it was still an enjoyable stay all the same. (The Campanile's at Liverpool and Manchester have the same worn look). If people are traveling to the ferry port or euro tunnel then this is hotel is a must, as a one night stop over. Its always best for travellers that they should be south of the Thames if its to the ports they are traveling too. The room was clean and tidy and the staff more than helpful and the hotel is not far from either Asda or the Bluewater shopping centre - get out and about (there's a good walk along the Thames also). The breakfast was very good and included in the booking price. All in all a good night stop over in a good hotel, in a good location and with excellent staff (never know bad ones) what more do yo want. Bon journey

The hotel is next to the Greenwich Metro station and the bus stop is in front. A pleasant place, we always feel safe. The next has several restaurants. The hotel is new, excellent breakfast, with a variety of varieties. The hotel was very good, and my wife and our 12-year-old daughter were in a bed with Queen bed and a single bed/sofa. Big bathroom with bathroom.

Fantastic place to stay if looking for budget option solo or as a couple in London. Very comfortable, modern, clean rooms. Very good WiFi, excellent staff (Vineet and Deep extremely helpful lovely and accommodating). Rooms are obviously small as this is a capsule hotel but really great experience if you’re looking for somewhere to lay your head when in London.

Just spent a week here with the family on an impromptu trip to London and let me say the hotel was a part of the reason the trip was so amazing. The service was awesome! The staff were polite, friendly and ever so helpful... Ali especially, who was very patient with us late at night when we were wide awake wanting to talk and have drinks. I will most definitely book and stay here again. One of my top recommendations.

Don’t rule out Canary Wharf for a London stay as connections are just as easy as other more central areas and these apartments are a great base in a more relaxed area with great facilities. The apartments have everything you need and the internal balcony option is worth it. The crowning glory is access to viewing lounges on floor 27 and 56.

On arrival there was a new girl on Reception (black girl) and she told me that the room I had reserved was room only and I knew I had booked a b&b rate. Although she was very pleasant she said she was new and needed to check with a more experienced receptionist. A white lady came into the reception area and was telling me that the new girl didn't know how to check was was included in the room rate and started showing her - how to check for this while I was there. This white lady (had a foreign accent) was quite abrupt to me and I thought to myself, maybe if you trained the new girl better, she would be able to check these details. The new girl was apologizing, I said to her its not your fault, you need to get trained better in your role. She was a beautiful young girl and very friendly and tried to help as much as she could. The kettle in my room was not working but was replaced quite quickly. I went to get some milk from the trolley and the Housekeeper (Spanish) screamed at me - your are not allowed to touch the trollies and if you need anything, please contact Reception, I said shall I leave it back then and she said - No its OK!. Had to advice Reception if one, needed their room cleaned. Breakfast was nice except the mushrooms they were too hard and difficult to eat. Staff tend to move trollies and talk to each other when guests are around and they use the guest lift as a service lift. They got in the way at times when I was trying to get out of the hotel, they apologized for getting in my way. Majority of staff were friendly, rooms need updating. On my last day, I was getting some tea at breakfast time in the dining area and when I returned a staff member (Small Indian lady) was clearing away my food and I had only went to get a cup of tea and had not finished my breakfast, I told her I was still having my breakfast. I was annoyed as my room card was still on the table but she never noticed this and was clearing it away. They spray and clean empty tables very close to you as you eat your breakfast which is frustrating as the smell of the cleaning liquid is quite strong, It was my first time staying at this hotel, however in the past I have had coffee/tea there but never stayed before. I would rate is as a 3 star Hotel and not a 4 star Hotel.
