Shalimar was a pleasant surprise, it is a luxe old collonial Dutch really good upgraded hotel with very friendly staff and a very good breakfast. Really good, worth the money , the only less point is that our room number 216 was probably near an air con compressor or some other machine and at night, when it is quiet, we could hear the heavy sound of this machine and disturbing the sleep. Also the sound of the cool box, our aircon and the toilet fan are heard at night but these things you can put off. But overall, what a nice old refurbished hotel with a good nice staff.
