Absolutely marvellous stay at a wonderful location. You are welcomed personally and the entire experience is first class from start to finish. Jean-Francois is a master Chef, raconteur and all round marvellous host. We will definitely return mon ami 😁

My wife and I stayed here for one night and we just loved it . The proprietor Jean- Francois Renoux is a most genial and welcoming host . Our room was very comfortable with a well fitted out ensuite shower room . The location of Domaine des Thomins is lovely and most rural .Although quite close to the nearby autoroute there was no sound at all from any road in the vicinity. Best of all we enjoyed a wonderful evening dinner (preceded by aperitifs) all prepared by our host . Breakfast was equally good .Local produce was used for both meals . Having received our bill for our stay , we wondered if our host had made a mistake because the cost for all we had represented amazing value !

We stayed here back in July 2024 and I've been meaning to write a review for months. It's rare that I would bother after all this time, but we really loved staying here so felt compelled to share our thoughts. The grounds are lovely and the parking secure (good for classic cars!). Quiet setting, lovely rooms full of character, engaging hosts. The food is what makes this place particularly special - home made food, local produce & super tasty. The local cidres and calvados are also worth sampling. We look forward to returning some day.

For my group of 7 people, it was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. Jean-Francoise is very friendly and his family welcomed us very well. Dinner was a special treat, everything was delicious and designed to please the group. The breakfast was very good. It is definitely worth staying here and having an incredible night.

Have just returned from a wonderful few days at Domaine Des Thomins. Jean Francois and Renee’s hospitality is second to none. Nothing was too much trouble, lots of delicious homemade locally sourced food. The guest house was set in truly beautiful surroundings. Will return in a heart beat when next in the area.

A truly wonderful experience with the perfect fun loving host Jean Francois and excellent chef ReneeA superb 7 course dinner with local produce.The breakfast was the best we have had in France with baked apples egg custard and 5 hour baked rice pudding a local speciality.Lovely breads and croissants too. Antique furniture as well in the dining room and bedrooms.Immaculate grounds with topiary. If you are a foodie come here!

The property looks magnificent and the interior has many original features dating back to 1931, when the family house was built. What makes a night's stay so special is the enthusiasm and kindness of the host, Jean-Francois. His wife Renee is a wonderful cook preparing regional food from local suppliers. We had a wonderful dinner with fellow travellers. Breakfast also had a very Normandy feel.

Jean-François was an outstanding host. If you can, please stay for dinner as it was the highlight of our stay. I just loved this place so much, it was a one night stop before we carried on to Bordeaux, but now it made me want to go again!
