The hotel is immaculately maintained and beautifully clean. The owners were helpful, friendly and quick to respond to emails when we booked directly. The views over the sea are fabulous. We went at the very end of the season so the hotel restaurant was closed, which was disappointing as we did not know that in advance. But owner Iulianos gave us good advice on where to eat nearby. At this time of the year, it was peaceful and relaxing. The swimming pool is more like a very big spa pool and nowhere near as big as it looks in the photos but the nearby beaches were great.

A beautiful boutique style family run hotel. We stayed in a 2 story apartment which had stunning views. We ate here every evening as the food was so delicious, sevice was perfect and the setting is stunning. The business was started by mum and dad and now the 2 sons run the place, with Mum still helping the chef to cook delicious Greek dishes! I am gluten intolerant and was catered for easily. There is a small pool area, but we walked to a local beach a 5/10minute walk away, which had lovely sunbeds. The bus can be taken from just outside the hotel.

Absolutely gorgeous - accommodation - a maisonette - was spacious clean abd well stocked. Family run and Close to the beaches and a few local eateries. Although we didn’t venture far as the food was so good in the hotel . Breakfast included home made preserves and local pastries. The dinner menu was amazing - a range of salads freshly grilled meat and fish and daily specials - again local produce and beautifully prepared. Views across to Mykonos - a perfect place to see the sunrise . Would thoroughly recommend as a place to relax and enjoy the peace.

We used this hotel for 6 nights on our island hopping adventure and would not hesitate to stay here again, preferably for longer next time as enjoyed it that much. This is a top quality family run establishment and everyone works so hard to ensure that the guest has a fantastic stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern and a real testament to the family. We had a deluxe room (47) that came with balcony and a perfect view across the sea to the over populated and expensive island of Mykonos, we watched the cruise ships come and go daily and wondered why people want to go to Mykonos when Tinos is far better and quieter. The room was fantastic, the air con worked perfectly and the small kitchen was there if we needed it. There is a small plunge pool available at the hotel with sun beds but there a couple of beaches nearby. The better beach (less seaweed) is around the corner (10 mins walk) and sun bed set only 12 euro for the day at the Akti hotel. Breakfast at this hotel (Porto Raphael) was delicious and plenty of choice (omelette, mini quiche, orange juice, yogurt and the fantastic homemade rice pudding), we also ate dinner here twice and on both occasions was delicious. Big thank you to the family for a great stay and would not hesitate to book again for 2025 and recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very impressed by the accommodation, views, beaches, and regular bus service. The hotel and grounds are immaculate. We should have stayed for 4 nights but had a medical emergency. Ioulianos, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to help us. He took us to the medical centre on the island at 3am and translated with the staff on arrival. His assistance made a very stressful situation manageable. Unfortunately in our rush to pack up the apartment we left a few items, and he even organised a courier to drop them off at our accommodation. We cannot praise him enough.

Stayed here for 4 nights and can’t speak highly enough of the whole operation. From arrival to leaving with were so well looked after by the lovely family who own and run the hotel. We had a very spacious room with sea view with great a/c and facilities. The hotel and grounds are immaculate and constantly being looked after. Breakfast is good and fresh. We also had dinner at the hotel twice which was excellent and fairly priced. Handy bus service to town too. All in all a wonderful experience.
