I stayed in the hotel because nothing was available in Trondheim. It is about a 45 min taxi ride from Trondheim and about 1.5 hrs from the airport. The hotel was cute. The rooms were comfortable and the reception was warm. One word of warning, the rooms are not in the large green & white building shown on their website but a side, newer building. I walked around town. Not much to do, few restaurants, but a very beautiful river running through it. The restaurant at Bårdshaug Herregård is actually quite good. I would stay here again if I was in town but would rather be in Trondheim.

Based on my experience, I cannot give a positive feedback. I had a room on the external accommodation (similar bungalow). I suggest to avoid this type of room. The room has a poor appearance, very economic furniture, bathroom very little. It is not adequate to the classification of the structure and the cost of the room.

Great base and function room for a family wedding. Very helpful staff. Bed Rooms a bit dated - but added to character/ charm. Breakfast very high standard and good variety / plenty options. I hope to return and explore the beautiful area around the hotel.
