We enjoyed our two-night stay in the romantic Sophia room with its bay of floor to ceiling French doors overlooking the piazza. The room was clean and quiet and the elevator to the residence was definitely in working order. We enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast at the cafe below and we had no problem finding parking steps away using the old town parking pass provided to us by Maria Luisa. We also appreciated the minibar and snacks in the room. During our stay, Maria Luisa even had our laundry washed and pressed by her housekeeper for such a reasonable price. A special tip is to go to the Cabras Civic Museum, a 16 minute drive, to see the Giants of Mont'e Pram. It was truly an amazing experience.

The location of this hotel is excellent for walking in the town but it has problems…elevator doesn’t work, breakfast is in a cafe down the street, rooms are strange (toilet, sink, shower in 3 separate rooms) and cluttered, parking only on the street if you can find a space. Not a four star experience for us, only 3* (and that is generous).

Alloggiare in un palazzo di quasi due secoli fa è piuttosto emozionante, soprattutto perché l'appartamento con i suoi arredi richiama quell'epoca pur senza sacrificare la comodità che si cerca quando si spende un po' più della media. Sottolineo che è molto più che una "suite", avendo due bagni, una terrazza, una camera da letto e un soggiorno che è un pezzo di storia. Desidero anche ringraziare la gentile signora Maria Luisa che ci ha voluto offrire un buono per fare la colazione al bar, non essendo questa prevista nella tariffa pagata. Ma il piacere più forte è stato quello di trovarsi nella piazza centrale di Oristano, nel cuore della Sartiglia!

Dit is een prachtige patriciërswoning uit eind 19e eeuw, waarvan de eerste verdieping is verbouwd tot gastenkamers. De ontvangst is hartelijk, en de kamers en andere verblijven worden opgesierd met mooi antiek. Echt iets anders dan een standaard hotel. Centraal gelegen aan het grote stadsplein, naast het gemeentehuis. Ontbijt wordt geserveerd in een bar op de begane grond. Je kunt aangeven wat je wilt, en het is er. Als je de kans krijgt, neem dan de achthoekige kamer Sophia, met het geweldig geschilderde plafondgewelf en uitzicht op het standbeeld van Eleonora d’Arborea.

Un délicieux séjour dans un lieux magique. Les chambres sont vastes et décorées avec goût et authenticité. Ce lieu respire le charme des vieilles familles italiennes. Seul inconvénient, situé dans la zone piétonne de la ville, l accès en voiture n’est pas aisé mais Oristano n’est pas Paris, et il est facile de se garer à proximité. Last but not least, dans la cour de l’immeuble, un excellent restaurant.
