It was difficult for beginners to find room numbers 315 to 316. I think it would be better to arrange a room map.
The hotel service and breakfast were very good.

Nice getaway
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Champlain Waterfront. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable.

Check out ruined experience
Small rooms but clean and comfortable.
Check out was brutal
Nobody at the front desk for over 20 mins and staff couldn’t find her either

The hotel is near the waterfront and main shopping street. Unfortunately they have very minimal parking( in a tiny lot behind the hotel shared with a restaurant). Need to walk to and from secondary lot. Staff not overly friendly. Very rarely spoke to guests and on checkout I got ‘do you want a receipt?’. Did not get ‘how was your stay, hope you enjoyed staying with us, hope you had a good trip,hope to see you again’. Continental breakfast very basic(white bagel, white toast, Raisin Bran muffin all three days I was there). Room was small but ok. View was caged area in a corner. Would not stay there again, and I’m pretty easy to please

Obviously a great location and the staff was excellent. Parking is fine if you are fortunate to find an empty spot in their lot behind the hotel (water side) however you need to be prepared to park a couple blocks away otherwise (especially on a weekend). Our room was fine, but the bathroom was not as clean as one should expect. It wasn't terrible but the toilet needed an extra wipe down on the seat and there was visible hair in corners. Based on some other reviews I think they have some issues getting the quality of bathroom cleaning that is expected. The management should put some incentives in on that front. I'm not squeamish about that stuff but I know some people would have raised hell if they had my experience.

Deceiving!
No manners for greeting, very slow. The room was in the basement, had to go through the dirty bedding and laundry carts to get to the room. The room was damp and smelly. Even had a small vine growing out of airconditing. That is to bad because the hotel is so well situated.

There were cobwebs in the corners and the room was too cold. Too tight a squeeze between the bottom of the bed and the TV.
On the positive side, the beds and pillows are VERY comfortable and the bathroom and linens were nice and clean.
