Unlike some holiday rentals which have no soul, this is a traditional home with so much history, run by truly lovely local people who know all there is to know about the area. An ideal spot for a family reunion or special occasion. The house and patio area is quiet and relaxing, the barbecue area is great and the recently refurbished kitchen has dishwasher and washing machine. We had a brilliant family break

The location and home is magical. The views are breathtaking. Such a very special place. The owners welcome you in as if it is your own home. Attention to every detail to make your stay special and comfortable. The breakfasts are unique and delicious. The family that own and run this gem are the most amazing hosts! I was traveling alone and they made me feel so welcomed and helped me map out my excursions and delicious places to eat. If you are traveling to this region a stay here is a must. You won’t find a nicer location for a trip to the Cangas de Onis.

Wonderful traditional Asturian guest house with the most stunning views over the Picos mountains. Jaime is the perfect host and made us feel so welcome. Meals were beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious with the best homemade cakes and jams made from his family recipes. I recommend that if you are visiting the Picos then do not hesitate to stay with Jaime - it was absolutely perfect.

This is all about the host Jaime who makes you welcome from first contact until you leave. The house is in an idyllic situation. Our room had stunning views across the valley towards Covadonga and the Picos de Europa. The bed was very comfortable, the shower fantastic and as a bonus the room we booked had a small sitting room. The house has been sympathetically renovated with many character features. There is lovely sun terrace and garden. Breakfast was different every day and Jaime featured local products for us to sample. Dinner at night was delicious home cooking a real treat. Jaime gives excellent advice for walking, hiking or sightseeing and has everything you need to plan your day. I have only one regret we stayed only 3 nights and would have been happy to stay forever.

No hay mejor sensación que despertar después de una buena noche de sueño abrir las ventanas y tener la vista de los Picos de Europa, el aire puro de la montaña y el olor de la leña que quema en las chimeneas…. La tranquilidad de la montaña, las vistas, tomar una cerveza o una copa de vino en la noche estrellada, esos pequeños momentos que le robamos a la vida cotidiana y que hacen que los sacrificios valgan la pena, así me sentí en este magnífico lugar. Jaime y su señora comparten este pedazo de paraíso y te hacen parte de el. El desayuno con las mermeladas hechas en casa, o el budín de nuez todo fresco y delicioso. La calidez de sala común/ recepción , las habitaciones yo no puedo pedir mucho más. Nuestro viaje no tenía una ruta establecida, y este lugar fue una grata sorpresa. Jaime se tomó el tiempo de indicarnos los mejores lugares a conocer en el poco tiempo que teníamos y fue de muy gran ayuda, (les dejo un tip que muchos ya saben pero nunca está demás, siempre pregunten y busquen consejo de las personas locales, internet no muestra todo y los lugareños conocen más y casi todos están dispuestos a ayudar). Volveremos si se nos da la oportunidad.

Heredad de la Cueste ha superado todas nuestras expectativas. Un lugar dónde te sientes en casa desde el primer momento. Jaime y Marichu son tremendamente acogedores. Están pendientes de todos los detalles para que disfrutes de la estancia al máximo. De verdad, un 10/10. Salva y Sofi.

Hemos estado en muchos hoteles, muchos de ellos maravillosos, pero ninguno como Heredad de la Cueste. Su situación espectacular, con unas vistas a los Picos de Europa increíbles, las instalaciones preciosas, muy acogedoras y cuidando los detalles al milímetro, relación calidad precio de lo mejor con diferencia de la zona, y lo mejor de todo sus regentes, Jaime y su señora Marichu, dos personas de una calidad humana increíble, que te hacen sentir, con su trato, como si estuvieras en tu propia casa, muy cercanos y muy competentes. Los desayunos que te sirven están riquísimos y son abundantes, todo elaborado de forma artesanal y de una calidad extraordinaria. Jaime asesora super bien con la intención de que aproveches el tiempo lo máximo posible, indicándote qué visitar, donde comer, etc. en base a la climatología y al tiempo de estancia disponible, es un crack!! Sin lugar a duda volveremos y lo recomendaremos a todo el mundo.

El hotel es una maravilla. Estuvimos 5 días y desde luego repetiríamos. Las vistas son como para no hacer otra cosa en todo el día que estar ahí sentado viendo pasar las nubes y oyendo los cencerros de las vacas. Nuestra habitación era una especie de suite donde pudimos alojarnos los 4. Ubicada en la última planta pero muy amplia y bien equipada. El desayuno muy original. Cada día te ofrecen cosas diferentes (un día melón con jamón, otro día embutidos, otro día tomate con queso fresco, otro huevos revueltos…) y siempre complementado con algún dulce casero y sus increíbles mermeladas caseras. Pero sin duda el cariño y la amabilidad de Jaime y Marichu hacen que tu estancia sea inolvidable. Te facilitan reservas, información, consejos... Super agradecidos! Y mención especial para “Vasca” el perro guardián que hizo que nuestros hijos pasaran una estancia muy entretenida.

Sencilla y llanamente alojarse en heredad de la cueste es estar en el paraíso. Unas vistas espectaculares, un entorno que te da paz, una atención por parte de Jaime inmejorable, un desayuno delicioso y variado, una casa preciosa... Sin ninguna duda recomendable al 100%.
