Interesting stay, I really liked the Mongolian style interior. Made it a unique stay. The staff was not as super. My wife was rudely pushed the extra blanket we requested (before booking and then again on arrival) in her hands by an annoyed member of staff. They seemed preoccupied with a large group/party that also stayed there, but that’s not my fault. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay in this interesting hotel.

Key points to play: Outside the hotel, only Xiansha Island is open in the off-season. It’s a bit regrettable that you can’t play in the water, but for children, sand and water have the same status. The location of the hotel is very good. It is on the landscape avenue in the center of Kangbashi District, next to several large shopping malls, and it is very convenient to eat. The room given by the front desk guy can directly see the large fountain. It only takes 2 or 30 minutes to walk from the hotel to the fountain. After dinner, we strolled there, just in time to watch the fountain show at 20:30 in summer. The facilities in the room are a bit old and the hygiene could be more meticulous. When I checked in, the dryer in the hotel was broken and had just been repaired. After calling to inquire, I was given bath towels. The breakfast is very good, rich in variety, tastes good, and the dining environment is very good.

Fantastic value for money hotel. One of the few 5 star hotels in ordos. Room is a bit small but still comfortable. Perhaps some deep cleaning required as the carpets looked old and a bit off. Some nice barbecue places within walking distance. Friendly staff. Overall a good hotel to choose while in this neighborhood.
