Hotel Sunset

Hotel Sunset is an amazing hotel! The best part of my stay was the incredible team who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Starting with check-in, Aniket have made itinerary for Orchha by himself, which is really helpful. Most importantly Aniket's father is most generous, energetic & humble person. This is what makes a hotel truly great - feeling at home, especially when you're far from family and loved ones. Great location, near to most of the site in Orchha, if you wish to walk. Great view of Ram Raja Temple, Charbhuja Temple and can see nice Sunrise. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friend and family.

An excellent budget hotel with wonderful staff, walking distance from all the sights in Orchha. Aniket will welcome you with impeccable English and both a friendly and professional attitude. He has put a lot of work in providing guests with an amazing itinerary for sightseeing. Room was big and clean (I have to point out that the bed linens were one of the cleanest of the trip). Towels, soap and hot water were available in the room. Water bottles and sodas available to buy, as well as some food options. Aniket's father is wonderful too, helped me booked a tuk-tuk to Jhansi train station at 6am and even got up at that time to make sure everything was OK.

Amazingly friendly hosts in a big house with private rooms and a 9 bed dormitory. In October 2023 the dormitory was still officially closed due to Covid, but they allowed me to stay there. It will be opened again from November onwards! Comfortable beds, fans, but currently no AC (in planning). They have a well written guide and maps on what to see in Orchha. Hoping to return one day!

It was a great experience and the staff was very friendly and supportive, enjoyed the stay. The location of Hotel was in nearby with the temple.It is recommended stay for all the visitors to Orchha City.

Just nice and peaceful....Needed nothing else....Kind and gentle staff...Nice and affordable rooms.....Raja ram ***dir is also close just walking distance....Rest all is good....I must say the experience was wonderful....

Great location nearby the center of the town and all attractions, very helpful staff. The room was magic with a beautiful view on the temples. Very clean. An itinary is provided to visit the city, wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended

First time I have met so friendly and helpful staff who spent so much time with me, I received a detailed guide with all tips what’s to see, where to go, homemade delicious meals, perfectly organised transfer from Railway Station in Jhansi and the way back, location in the heart of Orchha with a splendid view, very comfortable and big room with private toilet.

Fantastic place! The location is great the rooms are fair and clean. Although the best thing was most definitely Aniket (owner's son) trea**ent. He helped us massively in every thing and was nice and respectful to us.

Aniket, the son of the owner, is the best host we had in 4 weeks of India. He is a committed advisor what to see and where to go, with a detailled sightseeing program even on google maps. The rooms are clean and good value for the price. The best rooms with modern a**osphere are on the top floor. The rooms on the first floor are more traditional.
