Booked a room, showed up at the dining room on our dinner reservation to be told they seated too many walk-ins, we’d have to wait on our reservation. “Twenty minutes, you can wait in the bar, we’ll call you…” Forty five minutes later and no call, no service, no ordering and no food as we realize they are seating even more walk--ins and handing them menus! We end up with sub standard carry out from somewhere else and went home. Like to say the food was good but we couldn’t get any. Like to say the room was nice but we didn’t use it… view was good. Great place to open a restaurant! Get a table on the patio (if they’ll seat you) order a couple of beers and have pizza delivered from down the street…. You might have a pleasant dinner

Staff was extremely welcoming. Every part of the hotel was beautiful. We had a wonderful room with a view of the lake. If you ever get a chance to stay here you must. The breakfast was by far the best I've ever had at a hotel. Room was beautiful with step in glass shower large vanity sink complimentary shampoo and conditioner. Cookies coffee cocoa out front door the desk. Every area has their fireplaces going. Didn't realize they had their fire pit lot otherwise I would of went and enjoyed that

Got married here. Regret it. Over charged credit cards for no reason, changed wedding planners the day before the wedding, gave us a gift card that doesn’t work? Hotel rooms are old and the outlets don’t work. I wouldn’t recommend coming to this place at all.

May 10, 2025 will be a day we always remember thanks to those at Bay Pointe! The weather was perfect. The views of the lake were exactly what we envisioned. Everything we communicated and planned was executed to perfection! The food was amazing.

An almost perfect situation for weddings and family reunions. The fire rings are the best for nightly conversations. The food is excellent, I didn't find a bad dish in a 3 night stay. The cottages are really nice and roomy with simple furnishings as to not clutter. It was nice to stay at a place that isn't crazy commercialized in it's surrounding area.

My husband and I got married at Bay Pointe at the end of August! I am so thankful for the staff that was easy to work with and super responsive throughout our planning process. The food was amazing and we got tons of compliments from our guests! The complimentary room the night of our wedding was a very nice touch. We received a free bottle of wine with our names on it and wedding date that we are holding onto until our anniversary :)

My girlfriend and I had an awesome stay at the Bay Pointe resort. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. Our room was cozy and romantic with a gorgeous view of the lake. Everything was clean and orderly. Looking forward to doing it again!

This is our 3rd year returning to Bay Pointe. We love it there! It is absolutely beautiful! Wonderful accommodations and it is such a beautiful scene. The lake is breathtaking and wonderful for swimming, tubing, fishing, laying in the sun. There are multiple sandy areas to play in the water. It has become my family’s favorite place.
