We stay at a lot of Hampton Inns and this one gets an A+ rating from me! It checked all the boxes for sure. The front desk staff was friendly and very efficient. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast had a lot of selections too. The hotel had many new updates. I really liked the dispensers in the bathroom by the sink and shower for soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner. I also loved the nice hooks on the wall near the entry door to hang coats or robes. This was the first time I've seen those in a Hampton. I've made a note and hope to stop here again when traveling up and down I-95. Keep up the good work! Show less

We were very pleased with this motel for an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable, the carpet and bathrooms were clean and. The plumbing worked. The price was right. There is no breakfast, but we prefer that anyway. We appreciated the fridge and microwave. 4 stars because the A/C was a bit loud, and the TV stations were limited and there was only one bedside table, but these were minor. I highly recommend this place for an overnight stay that is reasonably priced.

We were very pleased with this motel for an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable, the carpet and bathrooms were clean and. The plumbing worked. The price was right. There is no breakfast, but we prefer that anyway. We appreciated the fridge and microwave. 4 stars because the A/C was a bit loud, and the TV stations were limited and there was only one bedside table, but these were minor. I highly recommend this place for an overnight stay that is reasonably priced.

Driving to Orlando, FL from Ottawa, ON, we chose Days Inn for our two overnights. Never again. Feb 2, 2023, Days Inn at Carlisle, PA. Room OK but the ground-level sliding door did not latch and lock properly. We wedged a travel brochure in the track to deter access from outside. Feb 3, 2023, Days Inn at Orangeburg, SC. Light above the bathroom sink not working, cover was removed, the worker’s tools still there. There was no wi-fi and no phone so walked to the front desk. Clerk said she only gives out the password but not responsible for the technology. Then we noticed the smoke detector was missing, just wires hanging. By then we were too tired to request a room change. But there’s more. After breakfast we returned to our room for an early start to our 3rd day on the road and found neither of our pass cards would work. Our bags locked inside and no one could let us in. Two front desk employees tried their master pass cards and even made up new ones but nothing worked. They tried to reach the owner but he was not available by text or phone and not returning messages. They finally guessed the combination of the safe where a pass key is kept, but it didn’t work. After 45 minutes, the staffer had given up but we kept fiddling with the pass key and finally managed to unlock the door. We quickly gathered our things and got under way on our much-delayed departure. We regret wasting money on that room. The clerk said the unavailable manager is the only one who could consider a refund. We reached out to him, also to Days Inn HQ but have heard nothing. We stayed at other hotel chains on our return trip. P.S. We highly recommend Comfort Inns.

We stayed at the Tru in Orangeburg. The first floor common areas were very clean, and the staff was very pleasant. The check-in was easy. However, when we got to our room, the room was tiny --- so tiny that it was hard for two people to pass one another. There was rust on the desk and on the lights. The TV didn't work --- and no one could explain why. We were able to get four channels. Just four. As mentioned, the staff was very nice --- however, very rarely were the staff at the check-in desk. Most of the time, they were sitting in the dining area, or other parts of the lobby doing things on a laptop or surfing/texting on their phones. It was not a ”good look” but they were very helpful and friendly. But the rooms being very small...rust on the desk and fixtures...the TV not working... It was a waste of nearly 80,000 points when I could have stayed at the Hampton right beside it, which I have stayed at before. Again, I am giving this two stars ONLY because the staff was so nice. Otherwise, I would have given my stay there a zero. Another reviewer compared the rooms to a dorm room. That is perfect ---- these remind me of a dorm room ---- cheap but expensive, things don't work, totally cramped, no closet...literally a pipe to hang your clothes.

The man who checked us in was very professional and nice. Our room was newer on the 4th floor. Nice walk in shower. Very quiet stay with the exception of a couple of loud cars going by. We were on the front of the building. Not sure if you’ll hear that on the back. There are several places to eat bear. Breakfast was good. The staff was probably some of the best we have had. She kept the dining area clean , stocked. And was also friendly. We loved the large bottles of shampoo , body wash and lotion. We didn’t have to unload all in that.

We were warmly welcomed at the front desk by sweet Margaret on Feb 27, 2023 and we were given room 109. It was very clean, had new carpeting, the bathroom had every toiletry we needed and more, the beds were very comfy. The pillows were small but very nice. It was quiet. Someone mentioned a train which we heard before went to sleep and again at 6:30 a.m. when we were getting up anyway. Breakfast was good - bagels, Turkey sausage Pattie’s and regular links, scrambled eggs, hot oatmeal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, oranges, apples, pastries, juices, coffee, hot chocolate and more but we did a grab and go so I didn’t pay more attention. We’d definitely stay here again!
