Justin de Provence

a perfect place to stay. the hosts were an absolute dream. they gave us local fresh pear juice while telling us the story behind the house. we were given a tour of the guest house, this place is SO BEAUTIFUL). we arrived on a sunday and planned poorly for food, stefan was kind enough to offer a couple places to eat that were open, and he had bottles of wine available at the house. there’s a hamam, a heated (!) indoor pool, a full kitchen, and a beautiful garden to walk around. we were given super soft towels and bathrobes! our bed was PERFECT. clean, fresh linen sheets and amazing pillows. every detail of this place is perfect and well-thought out.

We stopped over for three nights returning to England from Italy but would happily have stayed much longer. JdeP is a serene property, an ancient farmhouse and its park, in which every detail of furnishing has been designed with the comfort and delight of guests in mind. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and cool - in a heatwave! A communal kitchen for preparing meals and drinks was superbly equipped. The pool is secluded and towels are provided. Breakfast was delicious and included homemade jams and honey to accompany local breads. I recommend the evening platter of meats and/or cheeses if you are weary of dining out - and the very local artisanal beer, Ameno, has its own tasty identity. Within a short distance (20-30 minutes by car) are a number of very pretty villages, villages perches, many the homes of fine wine producers, notably Gigondas. Orange is home to a stunning Roman theatre - take the audio tour - and is a pretty little town; parking is uncomplicated as it is a bit far to walk in the heat. The hosts of JdeF are very welcoming and helpful - booking restaurants, advising on visits etc. Above all, they exude a calmness that is contagious - you cannot fail to stay here without feeling more relaxed than when you arrrived. JdeF is a lovely property and it is clearly very loved by its owners. An unequivocal recomendation.

Justin de Provence is a beautiful, intimate, boutique place decorated with extraordinary taste, with a beautiful garden, outdoor pool and jacuzzi, indoor pool, orangery, hammam, relaxation area, table football, ping pong and places to relax by the pool and in the garden. We spent a wonderful time here thanks to the wonderful host Stephane, who welcomed us extremely warmly, cordially and comfortably. He gave us many tips on places worth seeing while staying in Orange and the surrounding area. Thanks to him, we managed to attend a performance at the ancient theater in Orange, which was an extraordinary experience. It is also worth using his recommendations for restaurants where you can taste French cuisine (he also turned out to be very helpful in booking a table ). Justin de Provence is a unique place and a great choice not only for adults, but also for children, who enjoyed using the pool and the charms of the beautiful garden after a whole day of sightseeing. We wholeheartedly recommend staying at Justin de Provence. Stephane, Étienne, once again thank you very much for your hospitality, delicious breakfasts (honey from our own apiary, regional cheeses, carrot cake) and we can't wait to come back to you next time, Monika and family

6/5 what can I say more. I have to say more because there is a minimum amount of words haha. The hosts are very friendly, the rooms and bed are in perfect condition, the swimming pool is amazing and you have a very good kitchen available to yourself.

Exceptional finca in the Provence, with excellent taste renovated, keeping the style of the region. Attention to detail, regional products for breakfast, option for dinner in the garden (including regional wines, cheeses and charcuterie), extremely clean, safe large parking behind a gate, outdoor and indoor pool with extra towels, wonderful garden. Stephan is an excellent host, very polite and attentive. The area next to Orange is beautiful. We have often stopped in Orange on our way to the south and this is the best place we have found. We make regular trips to the south of France and Orange is the ideal place to stop for the night. When we find a great place we like to stick with it and we are delighted to have discovered Justin de Provence. I can honestly say that the experience of being there exceeded our expectations despite the photographs and reviews. Stephane, Gerard and Ethan are an exceptional team who have clearly invested much of themselves into this love project. From the warm welcome on arrival which includes a tour of the hammam and pools, to the delicious breakfasts and the glorious home produced honey, it is a treat for all the senses. The layout of the rooms means that guests are nicely spread out without encroaching on each other. The guest kitchen is superbly equipped allowing you make a full roast dinner if you wish or just a sandwich. The salon with its huge open fireplace, books and big cosy chairs is a quiet and inviting space. With only five rooms you always feel as if you are the only ones there. They really have thought of everything, it is spotlessly clean, luxuriously decorated and beautifully furnished with authentic period pieces. This is the perfect place for couples looking for an elegant, peaceful and relaxing retreat at an affordable price. Book with confidence and enjoy.
